Ritengo che soggiornare in questo hotel sia impossibile.
Appena arrivata, viste le condizioni inaccettabili di igiene e assoluta pulizia dell'hote ho deciso di cambiare. Per mancanza di tempo ho dovuto dormire comunque una notte nell'hotel e ho trascorso una notte inimmaginabile. Ho dormito vestita con i panni del viaggio, non ho toccato nulla perchè qualsiasi cosa in hotel era sporca, il bagno non riesco neppure a descriverlo. Vergognoso. Il caldo (condizionatori non funzionanti), le zanzare, e i rumori non consentivano neppure di poter chiudere occhio.
La location è fatiscente, tutto rotto (ascensore compreso).
Non consiglio assolutamente l'hotel, a chi ama un minimo di decenza e pulizia, consiglio di stare lontanissimo dall'Alexander hotel

For a budget hotel in downtown Cairo, the Alexander Hotel is a great option. It's close to Tahrir Square, walking distance to the Museum, the Bus Station, and the hotel has a nice atmosphere.

Lovely hotel with great down town location

Good location and old hotel

I stayed with my friend in double bed room for 6 days. Internet was working in rooms and good speed. Breakfast was basic and not bad. Room was cleaned once in 6 days. No window in room so was quiet. Mosquitoes in abundance. Wash room' shower gave only boiling hot water so have to filled mineral water hotel from tap to take bath. Dont expect too much from this amount.

Cool Hotel at the Center

I recommend this hotel for any friend like to have a cheap and good room at the center as it was very easy to reach the Nile , Mussem and down town shopping area .
the staff were honest , friendly and useful for the tours informations as Mr/ Haitham their manager knows how to arrange your vacation for a good price .

Economic hotel in a central location
A/C private shower rooms for cheap price

friends of mine recommended this hostel to me and it was very good , we liked the staff , the location and it was clean . the room was very convenient had a/c and private bathroom so we didn't feel the hot weather , always refresh after visiting the sites . they also offer very good deals for tours around the city we used some and it was for reasonable cost with honest guys .
