Good Cairo Airport Hotel
If you need a place to stay close to the airport, this is a good hotel. There is a shuttle between the hotel and terminals every 30 minutes and it runs on time.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, and there is a free shuttle that runs every 30 mins connecting the hotel to the terminals. Make sure you give them your flight details so they meet you when you arrive.
Unfortunately the swimming pool and the outside area are not available at the moment because they are being renovated until July 2013.

Great location for an airport stopover

This is a great hotel if you are having an airport stopover in Cairo. The rooms are small but its fine if you are there for one or two days. The airport shuttle is very organised and friendly.

Perfect hotel for transit passengers.Shuttle service is provided every half hour 24/7.No restaurants or mall nearby.Only food outlet is the hotel's restaurants.

Terrible check in. Worth skipping

In future, I will stay in a hotel in Heliopolis and add a minor 5-10 minutes to my trip to the airport. This hotel may be closest, but it had the worst check in experience I've had in any hotel.
First, the free transfer from the airport was almost a no go because NOBODY ANSWERED THE HOTEL PHONES. I tried on my cell phone and on the airport's information kiosk. They just ignored the phone and let it ring out!
I went outside and was hassled by dozens of taximen and then after 20 minutes out here wondering what to do, and trying to call again and again luckily I happened to see the shuttle come by to drop off other people. I wasted an entire hour for this.
Next, when at the hotel they told me my room wasn't ready yet... at 8pm?? So I had to sit out in the hall for 30 minutes with dozens of people smoking. I was really tired and wanted to go to bed. They told me that they would call me immediately, but after the 30 minutes when I angrily went to ask what the hold up was they just handed me the keys. Really stupid.
Finally, the entire hotel was converted into a wedding and the party was in the main entrance hall rather than their private event hall. So they were blocking access to the elevators and the staff did nothing about it. I had to push through and get the evil eye from people who saw me as interrupting their special moment. How else was I to get to the elevators?
The room itself had a mosquito buzzing around so I didn't sleep so well. At least the transfer to the airport went fine. But really, there are tonnes of hotels if you add 5 minutes to the transfer. I won't be staying here again.

I have been there for the Buisiness purpose so i couldnt enjoy the any of the above travel tip.

it's not the best hotel but it's close to the airport and has a free shuttle. However, on arrival you need to go to the information desk at the airport to have them call novotel for you.
