Cool Place near the Koutoubia
Can't beat the Location. It is located along the main road facing Koutoubia and walking distance to The Place or Djema Al Fna. Easy to get a taxi to any destination.

The room we got was rather small and dark even with the lights on. We had to walk up and down the stairs since there is no lift. This becomes a tiring and taxing exercise especially if you are bringing loads of luggage.
There is a rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served. This gives an excellent photo opportunity with the Koutoubia at the backdrop.

Marrakech is teeming with life, there is greater freedom in the air, as people here are more relaxed. This is the only place where we found lots of tourists. Touts were everywhere but not too pushy. There are private hammams in the Madina which are clean and decent.

fine hotel, friendly service

pleasant stay for 3 days, great location close to one of the most famous Marrakech attractions: the square, the market and close to al lot of very nice romantic restaurants with delicious moroccan food. Also a guarded parking place for our car om walking distance, behind the park. After trips outside the city the hotel was always easy to find because the famous mosque was easily found towering over the city centre and the hotel was adjacent.

so rare these days to find a great little hotel that speaks the trurth...warm friendly, TRUSTWORTHY. Fore the money it is EXCELLENT

PLEASE.... Forget it!
Well, well, well... Location!

Well, first of all, when I arrived at the front desk, I give my voucher ... And I wait. 20 minutes later the guy come to me and he said "Ok, now I need the real voucher because I cannot find your reservation" and he look at me like a (...) and he said "You have to go the the cybercafe next to the corner, and print another copy of the voucher to prove me you have a reservation"!
No kidding! So, no choice... I went to the cybercafe and ... So, he gave me a room 2 minutes after I came back from the cybercafe ... Arrived in the room ... and I found a intense smell of (...)- I cannot talk about that here- but it was disgusting...
The bellboy look at me and he said "So sir, do you like the room?".
They gave me another room, just across the street... noise, moisture and smell of (...) ...

Never pay more than 20Drh for a taxi from the train station (or airport) to the hotel. *Taxi's enjoy the ride when they come back in town. Moreover, the airport is 7km from the center town.
Never pay more than 40Drh from this hotel to the airport, 10 Drh to the train station.*You have to pay more to go to the airport because it's hard for them to find another customer to comeback in town; so they have to wait all the day. That's the reason why it's more expensive.

Nice view from the terrace

the view from the terrase is wonderful and the receptionist are sympathic and kind. The pudding on the breakfast is delicious and the people who work at the hotel is lovable. People who stayed at this hotel told me that the food of the restaurant was very good but I will not come there. The central position of the hotel is very good to know the city and is good to take the bus to arrive and to go to the airport.

Wouldn't stay there again

The location of the hotel is right on the main road near the old Medina Square, which is very convenient. It's also directly opposite a 1200 year old mosque, which makes a for a lovely view over breakfast.
Suggerimento:
Try and eat dinner at least one night in the Medina Square. Fantastic experience.

j'ai connu mieux en matiere d'acceuil.L'hotel est situe a 2 minutes a pied de la place jem el fna, en face de la koutoubia. terrasse de restaurant en face de la koutoubia vous n'apprecierai que mieux vos petit dejeuners!les chambres sont petites mais le lit est spacieux.Je regrette le manque d'information de la part de la récéption qui malgres qu' elle avait plusieurs carte de marrakech ne nous en ai pas proposé une!a proximité des souks et de toutes les visites a faire, l'emplacement est ideal.
