Excellence bed design. 9,3 We did discover ourself, swimming by the dawn, eating many dishes with great and variety foods, playing our games in a nice garden. There is a dreaming room for reading charming books, chatting, internet surfing, listening to the old 1990s's DVDs. It was envious to see others having an expensive dinner on the pier.

Do not go if you expect a beach. Also, do not count on yoga/meditation classes, because they don't really have them unless you have booked private lessons in advance (and pay for them separately).

Coppie United Kingdom, 2 marzo 2013	Excellent architecture and view, a few problems Sea view; architecture; nice decor; relaxing 6,7 Knai Bang Chatt is a series of beautiful architect designed modernist villas facing the sea in Kep, which is (still) a sleepy and relaxing Cambodian seaside resort. A perfect spot for relaxing - look at the sea, take nice ways, eat seafood etc. The overall look and design of the hotel is very nice, although as with all buildings in very tropical climates, the rooms need a lot of upkeep. Knai Bang Chatt is a bit like a small 'Six Senses' but with fewer amenities, slightly lower standards, and not as perfect a presentation. Pros: Friendly staff, relaxed feel, great architecture which reminds you of what Kep must have been like in the 1960s. Landscaping and pool area is nicely designed, but small. Seaview is excellent. Day beds are very relaxing. Good standard breakfast in nice breakfast bar area with sea view. Cons: For what it offers, it is overpriced and not great value (compared for example, to a Six Senses Resort). The total area is small, and there are new developments being built around the hotel, so it may become crowded. Construction noise carries over from across the road. The 'Sailing Club' bar and restaurant has a wonderful setting (best in Kep?) but the food is service is not up to standard. Ground floor rooms don't feel very private. Potentially, this is a perfect little hideaway, but I think there needs to be a higher level of service and amenities provided for the price. Kep is still lovely, but is in danger of becoming overdeveloped and there are some signs of environmental degredation - Cambodia should follow what Vietnam has done with Con Dao Island here to preserve the environment.

It was a wonderful antidote to the working week in Phnom Penh. The staff were terrific; tthe ambience gentle and peaceful. The restored villas are very tastefully decorated and appointed. Only minor downside was no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet bot of luxury in Kep.

Coppie United Kingdom, 4 gennaio 2013	Beautiful resort - great place to really relax Location, design, facilities 6,7 We came to Knai Bang Chatt to enjoy a couple of days relaxing by the sea and did just that. The place is beautiful - great design, very chic without being too over the top; comfortable rooms and very comfortable beds. The resort is lovely with lovely day beds by the sea, a nice bar and close to the sailing club and a short walk to Kep Crab Market for delicious food. There were a few improvements that could be made: The service is ok, but could be improved and wasn't up to the standard of the price you pay for the resort; breakfast was limited if you are vegetarian; one of the design feature is large pieces of the walls which are just mosquito net, but these were in the bathroom, which faced the road, and the toilet, which faced the communal balcony, so we felt a bit uncomfortable with the exposure. The balconies to the rooms are large communal balconies that anyone can access - we would have liked to sleep with the doors open, but that wasn't very secure, so we had to use the aircon instead. And other little niggles that could secure it's luxury status a bit better. But the niggles are relatively small, and the place is lovely. Sugg. sulla cucina: Trei (Fish) restaurant at the Kep Crab Market is well worth a visit - lovely restaurant and delicious food - run by a Latvian man and his Khmer wife. It's worth taking a tuk tuk to visit the Vine Retreat for lunch or dinner - they are an eco-lodge in the hills of Kep who grow all their own fruit and veg and make delicious food with pepper from their own vine - the food is delicious and the place is lovely too - in the jungle of Kep.
