posizione buonissima

per overbooking altro oduto di tre giorni hotel stessa catena abbiamo goduto di tre giorni stependi in centro e vicinissimi al riverside.
l'hotel è posto accanto alla pagoda d'argento e palazzo reale che si
visitano dopo pochi passi a piedi....
ha un bar terrazza all'ultimo piano per ottimi cocktail
e un tuffo in piscina con lettini ascigamano e servizio eccellenti.
la zona pranzo , a piano terra accanto alla hall, è un po' modesta rispetto a tutto il resto della struttura.
le camere non spaziosissime ma pulite, ben arredate, luminose
con bagno doccia fornito ed elegente.

abbiam passato 2 notti molto piacevoli al frangipani. e' un piccolo albergo curato dove lo staff e' molto cordiale e disponibile. la camera (pulitissima) e il servizio erano ottimi. purtroppo, la colazione non e' all'altezza del resto e al momento stanno costruendo un palazzo proprio accanto. il rumore e' forte e inizia alle 6am di mattino. sconsigliamo di soggiornare il week-end, quando il karaoke nei pressi e' assordante fino a notte inoltrata. l'alberghetto non e' in posizione centrale, ma il centro e' raggiungibile in 30 minuti a piedi o con i locali tuk tuk o taxi.

An unremarkable stay, but at a reasonable rate

This hotel would be nice if there were sweeping gardens around it with balconies or terraces. As it is, it feels very confined and the noise from nearby construction is not helping. WiFi is strong at reception, but doesn't quite reach all areas - unforgivable if one considers the cost of an added transmission station. Main gate is locked at night which means that there is a lot of banging on the gate to get in - reminiscent of a youth hostel.

Expected to be better
disappointed as the hotel is very small though the room size is ok. Not much space for you to walk around and chill out inside hotel. The pipe of the room has little bit problem, water go slowly.

Staying here was a little like having your own mini apartment in Phnom Penh for the weekend. Staff were always friendly, helpful, and responsive, everything is relaxed and informal, but clean and well organised. Lovely garden setting in 1960's Phnom Penh style villa.

The hotel is in an old house and, whilst nice, is beginning to show signs of wear - the wicker chairs at breakfast were broken and the paintwork could do with touching up. There are no grounds or garden as such but it is still peaceful to sit outside. The staff are friendly and helpful. In summary, this was fine as a place to sleep but and spend a bit of time but it is not somewhere to go if you are looking for a special sort of ambience.

We are very happy with Mr. Sucret( the front office staff) who was very helpful. Also we were blessed to have been referred by Mr. Sucret to Mr. Ni (the tuktok driver). Both of them made our stay and trip fulfilling. We were able to appreciate Phnom Penh more because of them. Mr. Sucret's service compensates
whatever amenities the hotel lacks.
