Amazing views. 9 Obviously this is a professional long stay hotel, but was perfect for my wife and I on our last night of a fantastic Chinese journey. Overall this was the best value for money of the 6 places we stayed in China. The location is great for getting to the Nansha to HK ferry. Be aware that the port of HK customs entry is very busy and not well organized. It was the worst line in all of China, and that's saying something. It took more than twice as long to get from the ferry through customs as it did for the boat to get from Nansha to HK. The room was very modern and spacious with a great view of the bay, the nature park and the mountains all around through the floor to ceiling windows. The room was very clean and fresh. Be careful when you book to ask for a non-smoking floor, as there are only a few in this 22 floor high rise, and the smoke on the smoking floors is very heavy. The amenities of the hotel (pool, gym, restaurant) are fantastic. Nansha is a very calming alternative to the chaos of GuangZhou. The "free" shuttle/limousine to the ferry cost 20 yuan, and we could have walked as it's only about 1/4 of a mile. We took the metro from the CAN airport (it's most northern point) to Nansha (it's most southern) in about 1.5 hours. A taxi would have been very expensive, but the metro only cost 14 yuan each. Make sure to have the address for the hotel written in Chinese, as the taxi drivers at the Nansha metro station will not be able to find the hotel with only the english/pinyin address and name. It is about 5 miles from the metro to the hotel, so walking is not an option. Sugg. sulla cucina: The hotel is beautifully located in a professional area on the edge of the bay and the nature park. As a result it is not very close to any restaurants or basic shopping. There is a great seafood restaurant about 1 mile north of the hotel that serves vegetables grown in the nature park. There is a neighborhood about another 1/2 mile north on the road, just past the bridge, with small convenience stores and fruit stands. It makes for a really nice evening walk from the hotel for a super fresh fish dinner.
