Clean Hotel with Good Service and Location
New Building, Easy Access to Shopping Centre

The hotel is located in the away from the CBD in an area designated to be a new CBD. This area will be the CBD centre in 2 years time I reckon. I stayed here for 4 nights in a Superior room. The room was large with a king bed. Amenities in the room was good with study table, tea/coffee, complimentary bottled water (daily), daily papers, and a fully stocked bathroom. There is a large shopping centre within 10 mins walk. Food and shooping is fantastic at the shooping centre. Free Wifi ia available in the lobby area, however there is a charge of RMB40 for internet access in the room. Distance to the city or Xihu (Weatlake) is about 15 mins by taxi, costing about RMB20. There is a good massage parlour opposite the hotel with great service and affordability.

The room I checked into had the AC not working. I checked in quite late in the day too. I called the receptionist once and after the technician couldn't fix it they changed my room at 11pm without a fuss. In fact they upgraded me to the suite. I was surprised to see a sink and even a washing machine in my room.
The corridors however are a little too Zen, and quite dark. Had a little depressing feel to it, so room for improvement there.

hi hotel was newly open and the room is clean but there is no free wifi in the room i will be much better if there is a wifi in the room like other hotel in china. over all the hotel is nice to stay.

good and clean ..only the airconditional blower too direct to the writing table..and the front hotel no shade cover..when comming to hotel under rainning day the customer suffer ..the rest ok...tell more after afew stay..haha

this is a decent to good hotel for business-travellers.
you have all your essential needs covered there (internet-access, room-service, parking if you come with your own car)
as of march 2011 the hotel is still pretty new - and of course a newly opened hotel is always a better hotel.
staff can speak - however well english - so international travellers will have no big language-issues unlike in some "chinese" hotels
all this however comes at a price - the Holiday is probably not exactly the best price for money in town - esp. in this part of town out of the center
also - complimentary internet-access should be a standard ...
its not in the Holiday Inn - you have to pay 40 RMB (about 6 Usd) per day for the internet

Great service and good ammenities
New hotel, not very crowded with pretty good service

We booked this hotel because it was in the newer part of the city and away from all the crowded tourist destinations. You do need to take a taxi ride over to the WestLake, but the hotel is worth it for the price and the new rooms. They upgraded us to a nicer room because we wanted a bathtub without questions. They are also quick to getting you a taxi and the hotel is very quiet on weekends.
