Schoenes Hotel mit schoenen Zimmern
Sehr gut zum relaxen und fuer Kinder

Alles zusammen ein schoenes ruhiges Hotel. Die Aussenanlage ist recht gross und angenehm gestaltet. Das fruehstuecksbuffet ist sehr abwechslungsreich und es sollte fuer jedermann etwas dabei sein. Die Wege wie z.B. zu Disneylandoder den Ladys Market sind zwar etwas weit , aber 30 minuten sollten es wert sein, auch wenn die Taxis in HK etwas teuer sind.

Putroppo la posizione richiede un taxi, per raggiungere la metropolitana.
Vicinanza al mare, con spiagga pulita e attrezzata. Vicinanza allo shopping, e ristoranti.

Hotel bello ma letti scomodi

Questo albergo e' stato da noi preso solo perche' dal sito agoda risultava "nei pressi" dell'aeroporto ma e' stata una scelta sbagliata. In primo luogo perche arrivare all'albergo dal centro di hong kong (che sia l'isola o che sia kowloon) e' veramente un viaggio, con la metro e con l'autobus. Senza tempi di attesa tra l'uno e l'altro se non 10 minuti, ci abbiamo messo piu' di un'ora per poi trovarci in un albergo lontano piu' di mezz'ora dall'aeroporto al quale e'possibile arrivare con il taxi (per 240 dollari di hong kong circa) oppure con una loro navetta a pagamento ( circa 200 dollari) mentre se fossimo rimasti all'isola di hong kong saremmo arrivati in aeroporto MOLTO piu facilmente prendendo il treno express che ti porta da hong kong centro all'aeroporto in soli 23 minuti per un costo di 120 dollari (tutti i prezzi da me espressi sono per due persone). Tra l'altro il treno express ti permette di fare il check in alla stazione, ovvero ad hong kong anziche all'aeroporto, con la fantastica conseguenza di fare il viaggio senza valigie e con la possibilita di arrivare piu tardi. Tra l'altro l'albergo e' fuorissimo dalla citta' quindi se ci arrivi poi non puoi piu muoverti...insomma, e' proprio da levare il fatto che sia vicino all'aeroporto.

The stay was in general nice. However the bed was a bit short (i'm 6 ft) and the blanket must be tucked tightly on the feet (otherwise the bed sheets will come loose). The staff was not very welcoming in general, but offered to help whenever I approach them. Was expecting a better service quality for a 5-star hotel.

Good for family with kids

It's good to have a short holiday at the Gold Coast Hotel and this is the third time I stayed there with my family. My two daughters enjoyed swimming in the pool with slide very much and there are many choices of activities around this hotel.

The room is clean , big , comfortable. But transport is not easy. So far away to urban area. Not good for shopping. Nothing in surrounding area. Car parking very expensive. Just for relax.

Gold Coast is far from central areas of Hong Kong, but is a very relaxing place for family stay. The hotel is close to the Gold Coast beach and other attractions in Gold Coast.
