very nice room and location, just 15 mins from airport to hotel, and 5 mins to shopping mall, 1 mins to spa, swimming pool not big but not small, walk to kuta beach around 20 mins and the shops around the hotel closed around 10pm

Good hotel in South Kuta

My stay was really only for a few hours - I checked in at 10:30 pm and left at about 5 am. So I just slept there. I needed easy access to airport for early flight. It was nice and efficient so it offered what I needed. The only downside was that I had a hard time sleeping - not sure if it was the street noise which was present, but not too loud.

gWe planned our trip to Bali for our silver wedding anniversary and we have absolutely no regrets booking at the Sun Island Hotel Kuta. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a free room upgrade and a surprise cake in the room upon check-in. The next day the bath tub was filled with colorful flower petals and on our last night, they placed two cute teddies on the bed. Our special appreciation to Chintya Dewi (Reservations) and Dewi from Front Desk and all the other staff for making our stay so comfortable and memorable.

Enjoy staying at Sun Island Hotel as it is easy accessable from the airport. Within walking distance, you can reach the shopping malls, restaurants and the beach.
