Hotel molto caratteristico,personale molto cortese,dista 10 minuti in bici dal centro ma offre un servizio di navetta.Buono il ristorante x colazione e cena.

Le Bel Air

Ambiente affascinante; le ampie stanze sono ricavate in casette di legno a palafitta con tutti i confort. Pulizia impeccabile. Purtroppo per tutta la durata del nostro soggiorno non abbiamo mai avuto il collegamento ad internet malgrado la presenza di un segnale WIFI eccellente (problemi con il DNS?). Anche il computer al ristorante risultava scollegato. Per raggiungere il centro di Luang Prabang occorre farsi una camminata di una ventina di minuti con l'attraversamento del vecchio ponte sul Mekong su una stretta passerella pedonale esterna. L'hotel fornisce gratuitamente il noleggio biciclette.

un piacevole soggiorno

Dopo alcuni giorni trascorsi in vari guest house del nord Laos e molte ore di barca abbiamo molto apprezzato il confort e il relax offerto dal Bel Air .La distanza dal centro diventa uno stimolo ad un uso intelligente della bicicletta che, almeno nelle ore meno calde, è un modo stupendo per visitare Luang Prabang. Alla sera dopo cena un tuk-tuk per il rientro si trova sempre, volendo però c'è anche lo shuttle del Resort che alle nove p.m.ti riporta a casa.

It's an amazing hotel and I love it! It's not in the city center, but a 15mins walk would take you there. The old bridge nearby is a little bit scary tho. The hotel is next to the nam khan river so the view is great. Room facility is good. i would suggest them to improve the wifi in rooms.There is shuttle bus to the city center and they are free. Jean the manager gave me detailed inntroduction to the city. Thanks! i would reccommend this hotel to friends！

I stayed two nights at the bungalow, this is very lovely and memorable ones.
Two more nights at the standard room was as good beside the room is smaler.

Unforgettable stay in LPb!

This was such a welcome surprise on my wife's and my honeymoon through Southeast Asia! We got off the 2-day slow boat in LPb from Huay Xai and didn't know what to expect of Le Bel Air or LPb. As we were walking in, the General Manager John Paul eagerly caught up with us to welcome us as though her been expecting us. He put the staff at our "disposal," as they say. After a quick check-in, we retired to our Deluxe room with Nam Khan River view (we'd booked a Classic, but they always upgrade when they can). Although it's not in the center of the action, we realized that was a good thing; the hotel offers bicycles free of charge to its guests and everything's a 5-minute ride away. And because the hotel is not right in the center, it's really a peaceful sanctuary, which is what we came to LPb for in the first place. The garden along the river is large, manicured, and quite beautiful with its landscaping and butterflies. The staff makes great recommendations and reservations, and while language can be an issue from time to time, everyone makes an effort to meet your needs (and they succeed). My wife and I highly recommend the elephant bathing and Kuang Xi Waterfalls excursion through the hotel (All Lao Travel). You can also rent a nice scooter for the day for $25. I think the GM really takes this place from Great to Exceptional because he understands the essence of hospitality. Guests like to be tended to and the staff, under his direction, really make you feel special. We extended our stay by a few extra days because it felt like we were leaving home. It's hard to imagine a better hotel in LPb! Highly, highly recommend.
