I would stay again! Vientiane is very small, and this hotel,is in the part of the city where you want to be.

This is very close to being a charming place to stay. I hate to criticise inexpensive places and I know you don't get 5 star service for 2 star prices, but there were just too many little things that were not right; wifi unreliable, no breakfast, electric shocks from the tap,I was given the wrong key etc etc. Things that sound management could swiftly put right. I would not say to anyone, 'don't stay',but I suspect you can find somewhere better.

Really a Backpacker hotel.

Room , most inexpensive, without window. air con an fan good, hot water good, bathroom sink leaked an reported it to desk upon checkout. Only one nite stay.. so put up with it.. wifi didn't work tho.. but quiet. Really a place for back packers or individuals who will just be in room to clean up an sleep.

I came from Udon Thani_Thailand and stay one night,
Everything is fine, but hotel staff may offer you a direct cross border private van from Vientiane to Udon Thani in THB 280.
Turn out is hotel staff send you to Public Bus Station and help you to buy a public bus ticket only THB 88. Because the departure time is closly that no way to ask for any reason for shut arrangemnt. ( the staff who send would not speed English ).
Actually, the distance between Hotel and Bus station is only 5 mins on foot.
Don't be fool like me if you plan to way back Udon Thani, just go to Bus station and buy tickect which has English display in counter.

Hotel in city centre, reasonable size rooms
Close to riverside, affordable price

Rooms are adequate so sort stay, staff friendly will organise taxi for return trip to Friendship Bridge if you are travelling to the Thai border.

Poor service, poor standard, poor room

Arrived in the evening and left by midnight.
On arrival reception were disinterested indeed could not care at all.
Took me to room but didnt explain anything about lights or air con which on avery antiquated and seemingly dodgy electricity wiring was a worry when I tried to work it out.
TV remote was missing and TV on top of wardrobe so not easy to reach but recpetion staff didnt care about remote and indeed just laughed when questioned.
Bed exceedingly hard, mattress thin. But the biggest concenr about the room was it backed onto a number of air con units which sounded like a jet engine making it impossible to sleep - even though I had booked for a couple of nights left at midnight to find alternative accomodation.
Next morning returned to meet Manager who offered little customer service or support.

Ce fut une expérience intéressante pour étudier les questions d'urbanisme laotien. Cet hotel qui avait des débouchés sur trois facades est en train de se fair bloquer par des construction voisines. Derrière c'est déja fichu car l'hotel d'à coté a construit une aile supplémentaire sur son patio collée aux petites terrases de cet hotel conséquence toutes les chambres de l'arrière ne voient plus le soleil. avant il y avait aussi une maison basse collée au premier étage ce qui permettait d'avoir toute une série de fenêtres sur le coté pour éclairer le couloir et les chambres qui donnent dessus. Pendant mon séjour, ils ont construit un immeuble de trois étages peut-être plus car je n'ai vu couler le béton que sur deux niveaux. Le résultat sera une enfilade de chambre sans lumière.

Anspråkslöst hotell med bra läge

Hotellrummet var inte direkt osnyggt, men lämnade nog rum för många önskemål. I rummet fanns varken kylskåp eller fläkt. Visserligen fungerade luftkonditioneringen. Efter den första natten fick jag flytta till ett annat rum, som var betydligt snyggare.
