verbally, emotionally and finically abused
The view - everything else was disappointing.

guy was nice upon arrival. as the location is out the way and no one knows it location you rely on the uppermost to organise your transport into and back from town (no one knows it). on day 3 i mentioned we were going on a tour. he turned hostile and aggressive towards me basically telling me i could take a hike and get my own tuk-tuk if i can organise a tour with someone else and not him - he shouted this at me infront of other guests. what he didnt realise was we were visiting friend who live in sri lanka, and thus they organised our whole trip. he still provided the tuk-tuk, but what use to take 20mins to get it now took up to 2 hrs, regularly. they never changed sheets or towels in our room - we were there a week. on our last day there, he demanded another 1000rupees for the tuk-tuk, even though we had already over paid for the week, we paid to keep the peace. then he demanded another 100$ for the airport taxi even though the agreed price was 100$ there and back, which we had paid. he ended up swearing at me (as he was drunk), calling me all sorts of names, slamming his fists on the table, shouting how we never ate at his villa and were stupid disrespectful people. he then locked the gate and demanded the 100$ from us, and more for the tour we should have taken with him. in the end we paid as he was getting physically aggressive. our taxi to airport showed up 2 hrs late - we booked it for midnight and it came at 2am, had our flight not been delayed we would have missed it costing us more money. he ran after the vantaxi as we left swearing and shouting at us. overall, this man was psychotic and scary. we had several confrontations with him. he was drunk and aggressive so i do not recommend this villa at all unless you want to be abused and hit up for money and threatened. you are one horrible bitter man. i travel a lot, and never had any issues anywhere before. everyone else in the villa was lovely just not the manager.
