Erminia M. Viaggiatori singoli Italy, 16 novembre 2011	Fuori dal mondo Pulito 4 Si trova in un posto dove in torno non c'è veramente niente. Solo un villaggio di pescatori senza negozi o ristoranti. Per raggiungerlo ci dono pochi taxi al giorno tipo 3 quindi aspetti delle ore al porto. Per andare via bisogna chiamare un taxi che per il porto costa 500 Bath. In piu internet va pochissimo e le camere del corpo centrale in hanno privaci. Comodi se si ha la barca perché puoi parcheggiarla davanti.. Ma altrimenti e' inutile andarci. Dall'altra parte dell'isola ci sono posti molto piu belli e serviti quindi consiglio di non perdere tempo andando sul lato orientale Costosa la camera ed anche i trasporti per arrivarci Suggerimento: Da evitare se non si ha una barca

Coppie South Africa, 30 marzo 2013	Beautiful surroundings, loads of water activities The hotel is on stilts on the sea so you are surrounded by the ocean, great watersport activities available, very quiet 6,7 We really enjoyed our stay. At first we were unsure of our host, who can come across as a bit "gruff" but as the days went by we came to love his "gruffness"! We were expecting Island View Resort to have a beach within walking distance but there is so much to do that it didn't make a difference. There is a small white sand beach across the bay and has a little boat that takes you across. It is a small deserted island so you normally have it all to yourself (we were a bit disappointed at the litter on the one side). We found coconuts on the beach and enjoyed some coconut juice! Kayaks and bicycles are available free of charge. We took advantage of the kayaks and rowed to White Sand Beach and the mangrove which is so quiet and peaceful. was exceptionally helpful with arranging any activities for us. We hired a boat which took us to 6 beautiful islands where we snorkelled - This was definately a highlight. Awesome! We would definately go back. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful.

Its basic but definitely good value for money. A few points you should be aware of Its a bit of a walk to get to from where the car drops you off. There is really nothing nothing nothing around but a small family shop) The pool is nice and there is a little kiddie one which was fun for our daughter. Its very quiet. The food is good but small portions We rented a car but it was far far too big 2000 per day and it took about an hour to get to the other side of the island. It is far but nice to be away from the crowds!

Coppie United Kingdom, 22 febbraio 2013	Beautiful and quiet location Amazing view, really quiet, fabulous food 8,7 The owner of the hotel is really helpful and very keen for you to get the most out of your stay. We ate all our meals at the hotel because the food was so good. The rooms were quite small but perfectly comfortable, more than made up for by being actually on the water. The views are stunning and there are plenty of opportunities for kayaking and sailing. The pool is very nice and again, lovely views. We thought that this resort was really good value for money and peace and quiet in Thailand is really beyond price! Sugg. sulla cucina: Try the special mango fish dish - it's incredible!

Borrow the kayaks and enjoy your own deserted island for the day. great food the kids particularly enjoyed the Crew burger. Very young children will need to be kept an eye on. Sugg. sulla vita notturna: For nightlife you are best off heading to White Sands.

Kayaking around the bay. 8 was a great host, he was a bit swamped while we were there as his wife the co-manager was away. nevertheless, he never forgot a request that was made and was very helpful in briefing us as to the local activities and places to see/things to do. the view is very beautiful and it was a joy to behold while having breakfast each morning. Suggerimento: Stay on the water, and not up on the hill.

Coppie United Kingdom, 27 gennaio 2013	In the land of Service and Smiles The lovely but overworked cook, who also cleaned the rooms, did the laundry, yet still smiled through it all. 4 Thailand is the land of smiles and service, there are lots of choices to experience that, for hard earned money and valuable vacation time. Our opinion is; sadly it's not going to happen at Island View Resort, until at the very least there is a change at the top.... Sugg. sulla cucina: Sadly food arrival could be a rather slow process at Island View Resort, and put that down to an overworked but lovely cook. Almost next door the service was much quicker, prices more competitive, beer in particular, we ate there three evenings.

Ciara M. Coppie United States of America, 7 ottobre 2012	Peace with Adventure The views and natural surroundings. 7 We enjoyed our stay at Island View Resort and Spa. Even during low season, Deiter (the owner) was extremely accomodating to our desires. We were able to wake up to beautiful water views from the pier and sit in lovely silence. It was not touristy, which was fine because we had already done the other side of the island. It is more expensive on this side of the island. The menu is good, but it is pricey. Knowing this and having no transportation you may want to budget accordingly. You can rent a moto (we had a blast), but you will not want to spend over $10 a day on rental and gas many days in a row if you are budget-conscious. The Kiyaks are free to use. You can fish off of the Pier and going to the secret beach (though a trek and very hard for an inexperienced moto driver) was one of the coolest experiences of my life. My husband brought his knife and opened coconuts. We were able to enjoy sun, a good book, fresh coconute milk, waves, and the fresh water stream. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, you cannot help but find it here. We were so thankful for Deiter's hospitality and the change of pace. Suggerimento: There is no refrigerator or t.v. If you are looking to watch t.v. or movies you need to bring your computer. I'm not sure how much the charge for wireless is. If you need a three-pronged outlet, bring a power strip, etc for charging devises. Also, no refrigerator means you cannot bring your own food or snacks to subsidize cost.
