It's like I was in my home now after nearly 3 months. The breakfast is amazing, and a lot of choices to enjoy differents breakfast every day. The location is near my work place. I recommend this hotel with eyes closed.

Friendly and helpful staff, Clean rooms, Smoke-free, Adequate breakfast set with additional fresh fruits, yoghurt and muffins. 8,3 we travelled together as a family (3 adults) and booked a standard triple room with jasmine hotel for 2 nights and an additional night on our last day in hanoi, where we were offered a free upgrade to the family room with much thanks to the manager ms spring. with a pre-arranged airport pickup at usd18, we were received and promptly transferred to our hotel upon arrival (and only required to settle the fare upon check-out). on the first impression at the doorstep, the hotel looks a bit old and small, but soon our doubts were put away as we were warmly welcomed by the friendly manager ms spring, who was conversant in english, and to our room (standard triple; 1 super single, 1 queen bed) which was small, but clean and cosy. we were given free early check-in. i was pleasantly surprised by the thick quilt blankets, and the complimentary local snacks provided. the family room is large, with 2 queen beds, a leather sofa, computer in the room and ample space!! breakfast was included in our stay. there is about 10 options on the breakfast menu, comprising of eggs, bacon, ham, and baguette (cooked in various styles of your choice), vietnamese styled noodle soup, and a buffet style serving of fresh fruits, some cakes/ muffins and yoghurt. ms spring also helped us see our itinery in hanoi and we booked our sapa tour with the hotel. it is good that she clearly pointed out to us that the hotel is also earning a fixed commission from our booking, and ensured that we truly enjoy our trip - hence only paying when we return with satisfaction. we were also offered free rooms to shower and pack our luggages when we did not book the rooms for the night when we were at halong bay cruise and before leaving for sapa on the night train. we were also given free early check-in to the family room when we returned from sapa at 5.00 am. also, there is free use of their computers with internet, no lag. it has been a wonderful stay, with hardworking and sincere staff at the ja Sugg. sull'Hotel: Local food is also easily available round the corner morning and night. there is also a shop that sells baguette just across the street. Always ask for the price before ordering to avoid misunderstanding/ paying for a "tourist" price. Ypu can always ask the staff at Jasmine Hotel for the average cost as well They are always willing to help. The location is good as it is located in the Hoan Kiem District, walking distance to the shopping areas. *wifi not that strong in the rooms, but there is always the computers in the lobby!

Staff are really friendly and helpfully. Laundry fees are a little expensive. Shop next door can do much cheaper. The hotel is very close to the lake and everything you need for a great holiday in Hanoi . Hotel staff will help you organism a taxi which is great considering all the taxi scams in the local area.

Very good location, decent surroundings and easy to find at Old quarter District, Hanoi, Vietnam near Hoan Kiem Lake. Walking distance from shopping area. Clean and spacious rooms with Hot shower with free good Wi-Fi signal in your hotel room. Very courteous staff. 9,3 I am so very satisfied with my stay at this Hotel. I took the triple room, which I was even doubtful at first if the room and the beds size is really large enough since, I only relied on the photos on the internet. Boy! Was I amazed how spacious the room was. Clean bedsheets, hot shower, clean towels, very decent. The Hotel Manager/ Supervisor won't even think twice about helping Us himself, even if he has his own staff to direct and assist us. They even took care of the tour arrangements and hotel pick-up and airport drop-off, which I highly recommend because, that will surely prevent tourists from being ripped-off by unscrupulous taxi drivers. After each tiring day of touring Hanoi; Ha Long Bay, etc., I can have a relaxed feeling knowing that I'll be coming back to the lobby of the hotel and going back to the room where I can doze off, unlike other run-down hotels where you dread coming back to the hotel even just to sleep for the night. The downside is the breakfast because it is plated not buffet, but hey, you get what you pay for. And they have choices of American Breakfast, French breakfast, English breakfast which they will cook only after you order. Other options are Vietnamese noodles, orange juice, coffee, yogurt, freshly sliced fruits, and munchkins. You Not bad. I only wished that they serve breakfast at 6:00 a.m. instead of starting at 7:00 a.m., because if you come at exactly 7:00 a.m. when they open the restaurant, you take time to scan the menu for choices, you give your order to the waiter/cook/manager, and then you wait for your breakfast to be served, which may take around 20 to 30 minutes. Not very efficient if you need to be somewhere else and have a schedule to keep. They have good foreign currency exchange rates too. I just had my US$ dollars changed into Vietnam Dongs at the Hotel. In sum, I just love this hotel because the staff never fails to smile and greet you when you come back to the hotel. I will surely book this hot Sugg. sullo shopping: Haggle! Haggle! Haggle! Locals tend to overprice their wares to at least 50% of the price for tourists. So if they say a handbag is 1 Million Dongs, haggle for 500 thousand Dongs until the vendor finally agrees to a price near 50%. If that doesn't work, try to walk away and they will tell tell you to stop because they will finally agree to your price of maybe 700,000 dongs. You're happy, vendor happy.
