Famiglie con figli grandi Italy, 11 agosto 2011	Hotel comodo e piacevole Posizione nel quartiere vecchio; gentilezza personale; letti enormi 8,3 Abbiamo trascorso alcuni giorni piacevoli in questo Hotel che rappresenta un autentico rifugio nel divertente caos del quartiere vecchio di Hanoi. Il personale é servizievole e non assillante. Le stanze sono ampie ed i letti enormi. L'unico inconveniente é che alcune camere hanno finestre che dan,no sul muro di un altro edificio sito a 30 cm. (centimetri) di distanza. Peró pare che questo sia comune in Asia. Certamente non bisogna essere claustrofobici. Altro problema puó essere il fatto che il bagno nelle camere é un box con pareti in vetro opaco (che non garantisce un alto grado di intimitá). Comunque (con queste riserve) é un Hotel raccomandabile per famiglie.

One morning woke to a power outage but staff couldnt be more helpful. Was out of their control as something happened further down the street but they offered everyone a complimentary minibar and food that day and were overly helpful.

The staff are super friendly and helpful and the room is good. Wifi is fast and reliable and the bathroom is clean with a wonderful shower. The beds are comfortable and the linen good quality. Handy to shops and restaurants.

Could not fault anything. 10 We had a really enjoyable stay at the Tirant. From the minute we arrived at the hotel the doormen were great and reception staff were so friendly & helpful. Food was great. Rooms were large & clean. The location of the hotel was excellent. Close to lake and shopping. Worth doing the "Green Tour" around the Old Quarter. Ho Chi Minh Mauseleum is really worth seeing. (Modest dress required & foreigners dont take backpacks) Go early in the morning.
