Inexpensive hotel with clean rooms
Close to Ben Than Market, Saigon Square and good restaurants

Our stay at this hotel was alright although the room that was given to us was very small. I think it's only good for a single person. What i liked most about this hotel is its proximity to Ben Than Market, Saigon Square and the night market (just a few meters away). Pho 2000, Pho 24, Than Binh, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, several good money changers like Mai Van, are also within short walking distance from the hotel. The staff were friendly but speak and understand little English.

It was really a good buy! Value for money!

It was worth the money we have paid! The room was spacious, clean & centrally located. 2mins to the Ben Thanh Market. At night, the street has turned to be night market which sells a great vareity of products! The receptionist was courteous, polite & helpful! overall, we enjoyed it!

I have stayed at this hotel before and I thoroughly enjoyed being a guest again.
The very polite staff and central location to restaurants and shopping centres and tourist attractions makes this an ideal base.
I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and naturally, I shall be booking in here again.

For Vietnam this hotel is a great standard. They do not offer many amenities but if you want a comfortable and clean stay this is a good place to stay. The staff is varied in how much English they speak and how helpful they are. If you want to shop at the big market (Ben Thanh) this is your place.

3rd time staying here. BT market just across the road. Although room with city view much bigger than standard room, but Standard room still very comfortable. Be back again soon.

Value for money. Highly recommended.
Manage to provide us early check in at 12 noon. Minimum of 3 plug point in the room, including of 1 build in international adapter plug. Free usage of PC and goo internet connection.

Our superior room come with no window, but the build in ventilation fan help me to see the sun outside (so that we do not overslept), and it help to cooling the room faster instead of the aircond. With the hot weather in HCMC during our trip, leaving the room with aircond and ventilation fan on is a must. They didn't off the aircond during room cleaning, nice. Great hot shower and water pressure. Read from previous guest about the level 4 lift, yes the go down button still cannot use but no big issue on that. We do not take the breakfast (Muslim traveller) so cannot comment of that. Nice front desk staff, they manage to call the taxi faster than my husband speedometer test at their PC. They may upgrade the weighting scale to assist the guest weight their luggage after the shopping (currently only use the body weight scale, which the guard need to scale his weight first, then plus minus with the weight of our luggage that he carry. So funny!)

Pleasant stay

Only 3 mins walk to Ben Thanh Market and Night Market. Easy to get taxi to travel further. Friendly staff. Internet access available in guest room. Nice shower. Small room but this hotel is value for money.

Very pleasant stay in a clean and comfortable room

I stayed at 18 Luu Van Lang. I have stayed here before on several occasions. That in itself is recommendation enough.
It is in a central location and near lots of tourist attractions and the major shopping centres and many, many fine restaurants. There is an abundance of street food available all around the hotel.
At night, the surrounding streets are over flowing with bargain hunters at the Night Market. It is preferable to the notorious Ben Thanh Markets during the day.
The hotel is a good base for exploring the city.
