Jude T. Coppie Singapore, 31 luglio 2012	Terrible Service & Dirty Hotel Nothing 2,7 This is the worst hotel experience. Reached the hotel only to be told my booking was not received by the hotel as the Management of the Hotel group stopped all bookings. I initially felt short changed as I called the customer service who still claimed they confirmed my booking, but only with the Hotel Group HQ in Hanoi. After haggling later confirmation of my booking, my room was given, but its c further climb. You would expect a hotel of a 3 star calibre to help ease your stay the moment you reach, but none from this hotel. After my horrendous experience at the reception, you would expect the manager to have the simple decency to at least SMILE but he took my complaint as a bane to his day. I was given the 3rd floor apartment. No air con as its high up in the mountain anyway. This hotel is not for the faint hearted as you will need to climb at least 3 flights of steps before even reaching the 1st elevator to take you up. Old and rustic place, only 2 miserable plugheads in the room for the refrigerator, fan, and TV. So better bring a power extension cord or a multiple plug if you want to charge your mobile phones or cameras. Bed is comfortable but the pillows were too soft. The bathroom was decent. Nothing to shout about. TV channel signals are bad. Sugg. su attrazioni: You need to have a local speaking VN speaker to be with you on this trip if not Tam Dao is not a place for a foreigner to go. There is a waterfall nearby. Ask the locals on how to get their. Walkable distance from the hotel. Climbing down is way easy, but going up is another thing. The restaurants there are not cheap. Lots of options for hot pot. There is a wet market nearby but the things there are really expensive for VN standards. If you need to buy water, go to some of the convenience store nearby and its cheaper there.

The rooms are small and smelly (mould?), the bedspreads are not clean, the shower floods the whole bathroom, only the highest category rooms enjoy some view over the valley, numerous Karaoke places in the neighborhood don't allow sleep. And the worst is the restaurant: Crowded. Dirty. Terrible food. The "included breakfast" was the worst pho noodle soup I ever got, and there was no other choice. There is only one big mystery: How on earth did they get hold of 3 stars? One would be barely appropriate. If you don't want your hotel to spoil your stay at Tam Dao, make sure to avoid this place. There are lots of better hotels in the village!

Von vier angesehenen Räumen rochen drei leicht bis stark muffig. Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe: Pho aus Instantnudeln in wässriger Brühe und Reismehlkuchen in Bananenblättern. Um 8:10 waren die gekochten Eier alle. Alle Versuche, noch welche zu bestellen, wurden nur mit einem ablehnenden Grinsen beantwiortet. Insgesamt ist kaum eine Verständigung auf Englisch möglich
