L'albergo è vicino alla prospettiva Nevsky e a piedi si possono raggiungere i punti di maggiore interesse come ad esempio l'Hermitage e la fortezza oltre la Neva. In pochi minuti si può raggiungere la stazione della metropolitana più vicina nel caso si volesse andare in luoghi non centrali. La colazione è decente ma quando l'albergo è affollato diventa difficile trovare posto per potersi sedere. Ci sono anche vari cambi e bancomat nelle vicinanze. Il riscaldamento nelle stanze sembra eccessivo soprattutto quando fuori la temperatura è più mite.

Good stay and very convenient in many ways
Very convenient for traveling around, cloak room making things easy, and English speaking staff do help.

1. Very convenient for those traveling to/from St Petersburg by train. You can take public buses from the train station and get off after seeing the Church on Spilled Blood. Bus fee is 28 RUB. If with big luggage, you may be charged for another 28 RUB. If I am not wrong, bus numbers are 5, 7, 11.
2. Cloak room is available to leave your luggage if you are too early for check-in or have to check-out in the morning and take the train out of the city at night. There are WCs on each floor that you can use before check-in and after check-out too.
3. Drinking water is available for self service at all time.
4. The staff at front speak English fluently.
5. Good breakfast. But in peak hours, limited seats may be a problem.
6. One of our three days there, the room was not made up neatly.

Hotel was in quite a good location a stone throws away from the Spilled Blood Catherdral. Everything was pretty much in order and i think its quite a good price to pay considering you get pretty good breakfast.

Perfect location for visiting the Hermitage

English speaking staff, extraordinarily helpful. Room on the frugal side; signs of water damage or humidity in the hallways. Overall a bit dingy. Too expense for what it is. However, excellent location when the Hermitage is the center of the trip, which it was in my case.

The room is too small, not clean and old,(noisy room). Good location. Breadfast is ok. I won't stay in this hotel again when I reach St Petersbury next time.

the staff at the front desk/reception were very helpful. since we didn't speak russian, we needed assistance with directions, etc. each morning before we set out on a new adventure, we would get information, directions and advice from the staff. we were able to walk to many of the areas that we wanted to visit, thanks to the great location of this hotel.

Great Central Location
Excellent location within walking distance to major attractions including the Hermitage. Nevsky Prospeky - upmarket shopping precint just around the corner.

We really enjoyed our time at Hotel Nevsky - St Petersburg is a busy city and it was lovely to escape to our quiet hotel room.
Liked the floor heating in the bathroom.
We experienced some problems accessing the internet, we stayed on the fourth floor and wifi connections were difficult. However, they did provide alternatives in the conference room when this was not in use.
Customer Service was very good, staff helpful andnot intrusive. Provided automatic registration of our visit to the necessary authorities.
Supermarket (turn right and just up in the same street) and Chemist close by.
Sugg. sulla cucina:
Sunday Brunch at the Grand Hotel Europe a must for all visitors.
We enjoyed a lovely authentic Russian Meal in the Hotel Restaurant.
For a snack or meal try to the Crepes from the stand out the front of the motel our favorite was the goose liver pate.
