Viaggiatori singoli United Kingdom, 9 aprile 2013	Reasonably comfortable room but overrated Comfort of room and reception area, reasonably close to city centre, quiet 4 I spent one night in this boutique hotel, but it felt like it was trying to hard, with the over loud jazz music, the faux grand style of reception which made it look more like a WAGs hairdresser reception and the over stylised staff with a little too much hair wax. I was asked if I wanted the breakfast option for £12.50. I asked what were the options and was informed about the full breakfast and there were 'some a la carte options'. Little did I know that the a la carte options were cheaper and looked more appealing, but by the time I found out the following morning I was charged the full breakfast option as I couldn't reverse the request. Nevertheless, the kippers I ordered were poorly cooked and tasted bland. The ground floor stair case had an old, ragged armchair waiting to be disposed of. The room was comfortable, the bathroom functional, but both were very compact, perhaps half the size of the rooms I normally get in Asia. The design lacked functionality as there was a large heavy wooden blind on a slide that acted as my curtain. But it was almost impossible to close/open! Reception acknowledged it had problems in some rooms with the wooden blind coming off the sliders. Not a great deal of natural light. And my room was across the road from an accountancy firm so I had to keep my blind closed. And they are intolerant of a late check out. I was informed that the hotel was full so couldn't get a late check out. Was then called at 12:03 as a reminder that I was due to have checked out! All in all, expensive for what it was.

Viaggiatori d'affari United Kingdom, 5 febbraio 2013	Convenient service centred and helpful hotel Good sized room excellent bed 24 hour room service tasty food cooked well 10 i stayed for one night and will definitely return. the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from leeds station so very convenient for central leeds. the staff were very welcoming and i was delighted with the size and comfort of the bedroom and en suite bathroom! the bathroom had a good sized bath , too often baths are too small so pointless, with a great shower within . nice touches like instructions on the shower operation which were easy to follow. free internet was welcome and the speed aid room service was great. food was of a high standard both in the room and at breakfast. finally check out time was 12 noon which was most welcome as i was able to prepare for my meeting in the comfort of my room

Bed - the king size bed & luxurious bedding ensured the best night's sleep in a hotel for ages 8,3 As a female business traveller I can't fault the hotel. Sockets beside mirrors & decent lighting in the room! The room had everything you need from the wonderful bed,cosy bath robe even an umbrella if you had to walk to town in the rain ( a 10min stroll from the shops. Only fault - the food and service in the restaurant. The dinner menu is too rich for mid-week (a burger with foie gras!) and the service atrocious. Waited 45mins on dinner and 10mins on a slice of toast at breakfast. Waiting staff couldn't be nicer but restaurant is way under staffed. However,some very nice restaurants a few mins walk, so you won't go hungry. I'll definitely stay here anytime I'm in Leeds but will eat elsewhere> It would get 10/10 if it weren't for the restaurant. Sugg. sulla cucina: Sukothai - 5 mins walk and the most gorgeous Thai food you'll ever eat.
