Very poor. Rooms cold. Breakfast very poor.
The young men at the front desk were excellent but older man that was in charge on the morning of 7th June wan ignorant pig and did not open the office when we checked out.

Clean comfortable rooms and nice staff

Buena Vista Motor Inn attracted us because the price included two queen beds, continental breakfast and free parking. Our family with two young adult daughters had adequate space and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was hot and had great pressure. We were within a 15-20 minute walk of Fisherman's Wharf and Ghiradelli Square. The hotel is at the edge of historic Cow Hollow, with nice shopping and interesting homes. Another nice feature is the clientele is mostly international. We would definitely stay here again.

Basic hotel in peaceful area

This hotel had very dated decor, dirty carpets, and a smell which wasn't overpowering but annoying. The hotel had free parking which was nice but it didn't have much else going for it. The bathroom was dated but clean and the room made me feel like I was in the 1980s.
There are a few good restaurants nearby and is a budget hotel for those who want to stay near Fisherman's wharf.

Building is rather old but is at a great location
Free parking, near to popular places like Ghiradelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard (zig zag street)

Parking at San Francisco is really expensive so having free parking is really a plus point but the garage is not locked and there isn't any attendant looking after the cars so do not put any valuables in your vehicle.
The deluxe room with 2 queen beds was big enough, bathrooms were clean but building is really old and it's time to upgrade their old school TVs to LCDS at least.
Guy at check-in counter was somehow very dull and look like he was really bored at work but we got all the information we needed from him though so all's cool.
Breakfast was bad though. Coffee, juice, a few pastries and that was it. It wasn't even a proper breakfast area. You can choose to bring your "breakfast" to the 3rd level lounge/patio area.

Helpful front desk staff

Room size is decent with 2 double beds & clean.
Bathroom size is tight though & there're limited parking lots.
Not recommended for those not driving, it's not that close to tourist sites & it's a challenge to walk up & down slope...

no complaints, it's nothing exciting, but more than enough and a good price. THe staff are really friendly and helpful and fruit is available all day.
