i had booked this hotel as i was heading to hamilton on business but had to end up taking my wife and 3 month old baby girl.
from my entry the staff were very helpful offering to help carry goods and pram to my hotel. they even offered me a free upgrade to a room with a baby cot but i declined as i planned to leave within a few hours.
i was pleasantly surprised that the hotel staff had come to my room and offered a fruit basket as complimentary. on the next morning i had to leave at 5am and i had a staff member at reception who was helpful in opening the parking gates at such an early hour.
definitely would come back to this hotel and will look forward to going to other hotels as part of this chain.

Lone Star is a good spot but there are many good restaurants on Victoria Street.

Well fitted out and handy

My second stay at this hotel. First room was great albeit a small bathroom, however I don't live in the bathroom. The second room I got was brilliant. Large on suite and good comfortable bed.
This hotel is now my go-to hotel when staying in Hamilton.

Wonder Horse for a great cocktail, mixed drink. Barman Alex is well known for his ability to mix a drink. Almost Straight across the road from the Commercial.

the room i had was clean and functional. small bathroom/ toilet but i don't live in the bathroom/ toilet. bed was comfortable. hotel provided undercover parking for free.
as a place to crash for a night or two for business or even for a night out in town this place is perfect. the staff were friendly and as helpful as they needed to be.
i have recommended it to my people and friends. happy to put staff in there. i will be back a number of times i expect.

The selection of bars on Hood street, Rodeo Rodeo, CBD and House make for a good night out after dinner or after a game if your in town for a drink or two.

Very good location

We arrived at the hotel early & checked in with reception who allowed us to move in immediately. The reception area had been refurbished & was one of the best we had seen.
We were greeted with a hullo & a smile by the chap behind the desk. He was very helpful & explained about the lift, about the refurbishment of the whole hotel & the private parking area.
Our room was spotless & no cost spared in the fixtures & fittings & the carpet throughout was just beatiful.
Overall our stay was very pleasant & we don't blame management for our noisy & uncaring neighbours.

Location & parking excellent but the hotel was very noisy with children slamming doors, shouting & it sounded like a party that went on until 4am.

Lovery oweners and clean room. Absolutely worth to money.
Suggerimento:
Using taxi is not recommended as taxi fare is very expensive. Better to use airport shuttle if you need to go to the airport.

Very Central Base for Hamilton visitor

I was very fortunate to find a centrally located room on the weekend of the v8 Supercars, so grateful to them and found it to be ideal location for a guest who only needs a high quality single room that was comfortable, good amenities and air conditioning.
Would recommend for visitors to Waikato, who travel by hire car or public transport
