Spacious room, aesthetic design!”
Can't believe they managed to build a very nice hotel in a shoplot that was built in the 1940s. I stayed in Deluxe King Room, of which I do not see the difference from the photos of King Room with Balcony. They both looked the same. We got the whole rooftop/pool to ourselves on the 30th evening which was fun as pool area is small. They even prepared clean towels for pool use. There are plenty cafes within walking distance. There's a few designated parking for guests. I love this room for the very spacious balcony and the cleanliness of it. There is no lift and the staircase has gaps so be extra careful if you have toddlers. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in town!
Good and Comfortable Boutique Hotel ”
The Hotel was so nicely designed, and special in some way - especially the few steps that is right above the small pond of Koi. The design of the room was very very comfortable too, with great amenities and facilities, I could say the Hotel has taken that extra step to make their guests feel like they are at home. Undoubtedly, there are downsides (though not that serious). (1) The Hotel has very limited car park, if the 2 reserved car park lots are taken, then you really have got to try your luck to secure other spots (I was lucky enough to get the last reserved spot). (2) Live band at restaurants or pubs nearby do create some noise and may affect those who wants to call it a day early - not something the Hotel can handle/control but that does have little impact to the level of comfort. That being said, I would certainly return to the Hotel again in the future!

Suitable for short stay. Hotel are one of classic old shop lot type with limited 2 carpark lot on roadstreet. Due carpark fully occupied, We parked beside roadstreet which under council car park lot and you better check with hotel staff if need pay any carpark fee in certain days. Interior design Heritage Industrial style attached rooftop swimming pool only can occupied 1 or 2 person. Stay 1 night of King size bedroom with rumah papan flooring style cost RM180 less. Dnt be scary of heard Ngek Ngek sound no matter you walk slowly or how light weight you are in room. Soundproofing not really good so dnt do big action movement in room. We can heard other guests talking voice in corridoor while we lay on room's bed.Not good for light sleeper.It less privacy as see through glass window washroom as no door,only curtain cover. So, you can watch over your partner‼️ the king size bed are comfort to sleep and pillow are fine and clean. Bak kut teh shop(sell local chinese food operate night till 10pm) just beside of hotel. This hotel are nearby chinese local majority. Behind of hotel have convenience store open late till 11pm selling snack and beverage/plain water. Infront of hotel have a bakery shop that we enjoy to had our breakfast with yummy sandwish & reasonable price.
Chic, quaint old world charm yet comfy”
Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights in 3 different rooms - a pair of us had to change room for 2nd night as the hotel was fully booked. But staff were very helpful, offered to help transfer our bags. Note to families: no interconnecting rooms in whole hotel, no phones in rooms either. Rooms well appointed with high quality furniture and fittings. Bath and shower spaces were large, clean, new. Showers worked well though pressure could have been higher. Shower gel and shampoo provided, no conditioner, no lotion. Bath towels huge, soft and fluffy! Sadly, no towel racks for hanging up bath towels. Room aircon worked well. Loved the idea of help-yourself-to-water dispenser hot and cold drinking water. No in-house restaurant, but quick walk to nearby bakery and places to eat (see hotel website for suggestions!). Mosque nearby can be heard loudly if early morning prayers bother you (it didn’t for me). Hotel has no lift, only metal stairs - elderly and physically challenged may find it hard. Even our ground floor room requires first getting past narrow steps over koi pond - wheelchair or stroller users be warned. We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the rooftop pool, though it looked clean and inviting. Hotel staff were friendly, responsive and helpful - both on WhatsApp and by phone. Note no staff on premises between 10pm and 9am.

Good location. Good hotel,like the room design, comfortable, and surprisingly ! there is a essential oil dispenser. Me and my friend would like to stay in the room more than going out. And we like the pool on the roof too. Will be back to this hotel.
