Great location to stay in Harbin”
The hotel is close to all tourist locations in Harbin, just 200 meters from the famous pedestrian street, where you can find lots of places to eat. I went to the Sun Island by taxi, and it was only 20 rmb to go there. You can also take a ferry or go by cable, but not speaking Mandarin I felt I could save time by taking a taxi. The people at the reception desk were very kind and helpful. The internet connection worked most of the time, though the signal was weak. Just 100 meters away is a beautiful Russian-imperial-style hotel, which must be very expensive and is worth of visiting. The price was good for this type of hotel.

Comfortable Chinese chain hotel”
Stayed for just one night after several nights on trains. The hotel is basic but clean and cheerful. I didn't have the breakfast, and it didn't look like much but there are very many local restaurants nearby so it is hardly an issue. The hotel is located just 5 mins walk from the central shopping street of downtown Harbin and a short taxi ride from the main train station so it very well located for exploring the town.

Typical Chinese hotel with a great location - right off of central street which made almost everything walkable. Cleanliness was average - bedroom was fine (did fine a sunflower seed on the ground), sheets were clean, mattress seemed new (we checked for bedbugs) but the bathroom needed a bit of work. If you don't mind a hotel that's a bit rough around the edges then this place will work!

The cleaning is awful”
The toilet was not wiped properly. You can see some colors. The shower ground had some other people hair, and leftover. In the room, you could find sunflower seed shell. Well, you cannot ask for too much at this price I guess.

Terrible! ”
Room was cramped with an unecessary large bed, leaving no room to open my luggage (without blocking access to the door and bathroom- serious fire safety issue). Also the walls were dirty and cracked. As a final insult, staff members were smoking inside the lobby despite 'no smoking' signs on display.

氷祭りをみるために二泊しました。 中央大街、スターリン公園、聖ソフィア大教堂、氷祭り行きバス停 空港行きバス停、どれも徒歩圏内です。 スリッパ、歯ブラシ、水2本毎日補充あり。湯沸かしポットあり。 ホテル内はセントラルヒーティングで暖かいです。シャワーも熱っかった。 静かだったし寝るだけなら充分でした。余裕があったら小型の加湿器持参 おすすめ。乾燥してます。

２日目の午後に部屋のカードキーが機能していなかったので、受付に戻り、カードキーの情報更新を強いられた。その時点で何の説明もないので、「毎日午後に受付で再度更新する必要があるのか」と尋ねても受付は返答をしない。出来ないのかもしれないが、せめて文面による指示があれば問題ないのではないか。 最も不快だったのはコンシェルジュの席に座っている乱れた服装の女性であった。目的地へ向かえるバスの系統番号や乗車停留所について尋ねても、相槌ひとつせずに無視されたも同然であった。当てに出来ないのが分かったので諦めたが、それ以来、コンシェルジュに座っている女性は私の顔を見るや、プンと視線を外し私に冷たい目つきを浴びせ続けた。こんな不愉快なホテルの滞在は初めてだった。後日、その女性は自身の幼子らしきを膝に抱えてコンシェルジュの席に座りながら、スタッフとも宿泊客とも思えない服装の女性と世間話の様な大声をフロア全体に響かせていた。どうやらその女性の役割はフロアのセキュリティと察するが、それなら座っている机に「コンシェルジュ」の立て札を置くべきではないのではないか。 再度利用するか否かは微妙なところだ。
