"Had a very nice stay for one evening in Atami. They picked us up from the Ajiro train station which was very convenient. They also made a lovely traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast (although we didn’t love the food, we respected the work that went into it). The view from the onsen was amazing and the rooms were very comfortable."

"You can view the stars while enjoying a foot bath! The room has a cypress barrel bath, and it felt larger than it looked in the pictures. You can watch YouTube on the TV, and there are speakers installed in the bedroom. The facilities are impeccable. Please be careful when driving as the slope to the hotel is steep. The staff provided excellent service, and they promptly assisted me even when I left something behind. I have already decided to go back in four months."

"It's a very decent hot spring hotel in a small town Ajiro. We stayed there 2 nights and very satisfied. The town is nice and quite, and we like it more than the famous Atami. It's a bit surprise that we cannot have breakfast and dinner in the hotel even we stayed in the hotel. The staff is polite but seems all are booked, including breakfast. Have to go to a familymart for breakfast. Luckly there are several decent choices for dinners in walking distance. "

"The bathroom is shared with the person on the second floor, and the rules were also written down. However, when I returned home from a meal and opened the front door, I found the bathroom door wide open with a man standing there completely naked, which I found quite inappropriate. Also, the person on the second floor made a lot of noise with the front door at 2:30 AM, which made me think if that was acceptable. However, the hot spring was nice, and the room had a feeling of cleanliness, so it was good overall."
