Nice hotel, friendly staff, fair price, blah, blah, blah..... But it's the little things that I like about Al Manzel. Big fluffy bath towels! I love them! Al Manzel doesn't go cheap on the towels, like so many other hotels seem to do.

Very Good Apart-Hotel with Great Location”
The furniture is comfortable enough for Westerners. Kitchen is well laid out and equipped. Everything was functional. WiFi was useless at times, since it was so very slow I couldn’t load a web page. Bathtubs have some paint on the bottom that’s peeling. Bed is very comfortable though. No heat in the room, so expect to be COLD in the winter.

Apartment with a Perfect Location and Well Equipped”
I've returned here again and again. It's easy to walk to malls, Corniche and restaurants from Al Manzel. The apartment is well laid out with dated, yet comfortable furniture. Given that the shower is a bit narrow, it's still very functional. Staff is so friendly and helpful. I've stayed here often.

Good Apart-Hotel with Depressing Wi-Fi”
Have stayed here many times. My biggest complaint so far is the internet. There are too many times when it's gone and I need to connect my computer to my cellphone to get data. I call the front desk when the internet connectivity goes away and they offer to send someone to my room to fix it. That's craziness. I just refuse and hours later, the internet comes back without need for someone to disturb me. Room is well equipped though. Bed is very comfortable. On the 6th floor, the water pressure is a bit high, but doable. It's got a long way to go to matching modern apart-hotels around the world, but it's good for Abu Dhabi. Of course the location is great. Easy walking distance to the Corniche, Abu Dhabi mall and other places. There's a hypermarket within a block away. There's a grocery store and plenty of restaurants at Abu Dhabi mall. Pleasant area to walk around at night with no safety concerns.

Apartment with Great location”
The apartment is well furnished and the bed is so comfortable. The staff is very pleasant. Kitchen well equipped, though the studio has a small refrigerator that doesn't really add to the experience. It's okay for a day. WiFi in the room is terrible. There's simply no point in even connecting. Bathtub has some type of coating on it that's peeling that stopped me from taking a bath. Easy walk to Abu Dhabi mall. Convenient to KFC, Pizza Hut and Hardee's (across the street).

Old, Tired Apartment-Hotel in Need of Renovation”
Rented a studio this time and was a bit unhappy about the small refrigerator that goes with the medium sized kitchen. Restroom was tiny with the door opening into the toilet. Felt like I was in a Japanese hotel. Silvering on the mirror is so old that it's worn out and the mirror is almost un-usable. Staff was great though. Don't think I would endure a studio again. Needs a renovation.

Outdated Apartment Hotel in Good Location”
When I entered the apartment, I felt like I was transported back 50 years in time. The colors, décor, floor and everything else reminded me of times when people wanted to be bored. The facilities were okay. Some of the furniture had ripped fabric. Stovetop was too small to hold 2 pans (on its 2 burners). Hot water kettle was broken. Shower and tub were worn out. It was kind of depressing, but the view of the building next door was even worse. All-in-all I'd say it was barely okay, but the price was too high for such an outdated facility. Highlights of the apartment included a comfortable bed. Outdated electrical outlets were definitely a minus for a modern traveler. Luckily I had an adapter that fit, but it didn't match today's standard of using British plug outlets. I doubt I would return, unless the price dropped significantly. As a traveler with thousands of trips around the world, I just cannot recommend the Al Manzel Hotel Apartments when there are so very many cheaper (by 50%).

Had ad-hoc meeting in Abu Dhabi with associates, booked studio suites (excl. breakfast) at Al Manzel Hotel Apartments via Agoda. Arriving via Dubai, opted for hotel's airport pickup (chargeable) just to be safe. Front Office Manager was responsive to emails. Driver was punctual, and pleasantly surprised vehicle was a big MPV which was roomy and comfortable with mineral water for everyone, making the journey tolerable. Dubai to Abu Dhabi took approx 1.5 hours. Arrived at Al Manzel Hotel Apartments around 8pm. Exterior looks very nice and presentable. Lobby is medium sized, quite classy with the large sofas and marble floors. Upon check-in, was surprised to note internet access wasn't complimentary in our package and had to be charged. Was about to order for our rooms, coincidentally the Front Office Manager was around and came to say hi, and was nice to provide complimentary wifi for all (thanks Godfrey). Pleasant way to start. Studio suite is... your typical studio. You have a well-equipped kitchen, sofa and coffee table, and bed was segmented from the rest, classy! Bathroom was clean and spacious, includes bathtub. Complimentary fruit platter was very welcoming and nice gesture. Very impressed. We had dinner at their restaurant, even though it says buffet, the counter was closed and we're the only diners there. Had ala carte instead, food was quite standard. Called it a night, bed was very comfortable and had a great rest. We paid for buffet breakfast the next two days. Spread wasn't a lot, quite standard, but the wait staffs always have a smile on their face. They were attentive, courteous, and service oriented. Despite some glitches and unpleasant episodes, I give credit to this hotel for the comfort and ambience of the rooms, to me it's close to "home away from home", where you can also work and hold discussion. Not forgetting the great attitude of the wait staffs in the restaurant, and the concierge.

Awesome!!”
Absolutely wonderful. I can go on and on about how clean and nice everyone were, but the most important thing that was awesome was the fact that you can accomplish so much residing at the Manzel. It's a 5 star attraction and that speaks for itself. It is a must see and do for anyone to believe what everyone is saying about the Manzel. Close to the family beach, Carrefour and the Abu Dhabi mall is around the corner. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome... Please just go and see for yourself... We will be back there in a few weeks for another adventure at the Manzel.

Excellent Hotel”
Hotel is just 2 years old so everything is very new. I was upgtraded to a suite. Take note this is a serviced apartment so it had kitchen, living room, and a bedroom. Near the hotel is the Abu dhabi mall. The malls in Abu dhabi are not fantastic malls but its convenient when you need to buy things. The hotel is along the main road so easy access to taxi and to look for the hotel. It is situated in the heart of the city so within the business district area.

Good Apartment building perfect location”
The Al Manzel Hotel Apartments are convenient located. Just a few walking minutes away from Le Meridien and Abu Dhabi mall. Africa Eastern a shop where you can buy beer and spirits are near by as well as many restaurants. Rooms are nice, big and clean with kitchenette. Freindly service. All in a ll a good choice once you are in Abu Dhabi.

Roomy rooms, convenient location, superb service”
We chose Al Manzel for the size of its rooms and we were not disappointed. The rooms were huge and roomy, had a full kitchenette with stove, microwave, utensils and cutlery, and a washer/dry also! The size of the bathroom was rather cramped and one would have willingly giving a few sq foot from the room's size for a slightly bigger bathroom. Though we didn't use it, there is a great pool and gymnasium for those who want to exercise. The staff is very friendly and helpful in getting taxis and arranging alternate transport if taxi is not available (we were two families so needed a 7-seater taxi). I would highly recommend this for families with children.

Relaxing few days before heading home”
It was so nice to stay here, with staff who paid attention to who you were, your name was used and you were recognised. There were a few small glitches, the bath plug not working Room 1712, A call for the butler service to have a suit pressed and shoes polished seemed to go nowhere, eventually it got through to the right channel, it was just a language barrier. The staff were always a delight, on day of departure my flight had been changed to 12 hours later so this left me with 6 hours to kill after check out, it was no problem here as I stored the luggage and the staff at the Gym/Pool said it would be no problem to come back up at 5pm to shower in the change room before being picked up for the airport. I hope to stay here again if I'm back in Abu Dhabi
