It gives a colonial bungalow feeling, and is a perfect property for retreat! Loved the conversations with Hakim Babu.. And the tea plantation tour he took us on. There are two areas of improvement though.. 1. Food is super expensive. They do not have a proper menu hence you dont get to know what price food you are ordering. For eg, we ordered a bhajji plate and it was for 180 rs. Even the dinner buffet is 750 rs, and it does not feel like a buffet. They even charged for drivers food, however they fed him the leftover food from us. 2. The water in the bathroom is muddy and is not clean. They say that its because its coming directly from the mountains, but still something should be done about it! Same goes with swimming pool water, its not clean and you wont feel like taking a dip!

Beautiful place ”
Amazing place ! Very pleasant and value for money. Couple of things that could have been better Bonfire is not included in the stay amount, 2k for bonfire for 2 hours. For food apart from lunch and dinner you will have to pay and only cash. The stay is amazing but do not consider this stay if you are looking to go to Ooty and want to spend most of your time there. This is ideally a standalone vacation place and visit to a couple places in Ooty. That's it. The place is situated in an amazing plantation, it has 2 very very friendly cats. The house is 60 years old with some beautiful show pieces inside. Worth a weekend here.

Best place to spend time with ur loved ones!”
One of the best stays we have had recently. We travelled with a 2 year old baby and had the best family time. The staffs were so very supportive right from the moment we entered the place till we exited the gate. They took personal care of everything specific thing and also took care of the baby; everyone of them. The place was amidst the nature and had great ambience. U must visit this place with ur family.

Wonderful location and awesome food”
The location is awesome and the weather made it breathtaking. During our entire stay we were in the midst of clouds and had difficulty knowing what time is it. This is a place you come and just relax, a perfect idyllic getaway. The second thing why anybody must visit this place is for the food. The food prepared here is so tasty that we ended up over eating all the 3 meals we had and we all had difficulty breathing as we had stuffed ourselves to the hilt. This is the first time i felt the vegetarian food out did the non veg. The vegetables are so tasty in this area and the way it was cooked is too good, words can never describe this feeling and you have to try it to feel it. Finally the wonderful staff make your stay that much more pleasant.

Calm and peaceful estate stay”
Pros: Calm, peaceful and serene estate stay. Cons: It's about two hours drive from Ooty. So do not plan to visit attractions in Ooty by staying here as the travel time to and fro would be four hours. Food is overpriced. With no restaurants around, you are left with no other option. They have a small dip pool that you can't really call a swimming pool.

if you want to get away from the regular work.. get lost in the mountains and enjoy the mother nature with the hills and valleys. get into the cool natural spring water pool.. get relaxed, enjoy the tasty homely food...with less crowd..with ur loved ones.. go for a lovely walk in the early morning/evening in the tea plantations... take a curvy roads for drive... then this is the place..
