      This family-run hotel is set in a historic villa in Potsdam. It offers a garden, daily breakfast buffets, and easy transport connections. The Griebnitzsee lake is 1 km away.       Verwunschen und märchenhaft!”

      Wunderschönes Hotel-Kleinod fernab des Mainstreams. Der individuelle Look und die Einrichtung haben dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Das gilt auch für das reichhaltige Frühstück im malerischen Wintergarten und die sehr freundliche Betreuung am Empfang. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

      Charme, Frühstück, Garten

      Das Hotel liegt in einer Wohngegend in Potsdam, die Innenstadt ist etwas entfernt, aber akzeptabel. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr nett und hat einen eigenen Charme. Wirklich toll ist das eigene Frühstückshaus/ Frühstücksterrasse in dem gepflegten, schönen Garten. So kann der Tag gut losgehen. Gemeinschaftsbad war kein Problem, da wir in diesem Geschoss keine anderen Gäste gesehen haben und daher das Bad für uns alleine hatten

      På arbejde i Potsdam.”

      Hotellet adskiller sig fra de sædvanlige betonklodser, hvor det eneste spændene er hvorvidt toiletter ligger til højre eller venstre når man kommer ind i sit værrelse. Hotellet havde absolut et personligt præg, der gjorde opholdet behageligt i de få timer pr. døgn man befandt sig der i vågen tilstand. Morgenmaden var enkel, men usædvanlig lækker og indbydende.
      Eneste ulempe var den manglende respekt for rygere, idet jeg ved bestillingen havde bedt om oplysninger specielt dette. Faktisk manglede der et sted for disse under-mennesker. Et opvarmet sted. Men OK - man fik sig da en hyggelig og social sludder med ligestillede i den kolde have præget af fastlandet temperaturer medio oktober. Vi rygere er trods alt de mest hærdede næst efter jægerkorpset.

      Et besøg på dette hotel har været en lise for en person på arbejde. Uanset om man er tilhænger af gammel østtysk boligindretning eller ikke er det altid en fornøjelse at hoteller er et udtryk for personlighed. Værrelset (et dobbelt værrelse) var tilpas stort og højt til loftet, idet bygningen var et tidligere rigmandshjem fra begyndelsen af 1900 tallet. Varmesystemet fungerede, rengøringen fungerede, fjernsynet fungerede, køleskabet fungerede, personalet fungerede og morgenmaden var yderst tilfredsstillende. Kort sagt fik man hvad man havde bestilt. Når man som jeg var i bil var det ikke et problem at finde restaurenter inden for 2 til 3 km fra hotellet. Tag dette i betragtning. Uden bil er man på herrens marker. Da der ikke var minibar bør man huske at proviantere hvis man er til lidt godnathygge ved værrelsets lille bord med stole. Man kan altid diskutere hvorvidt prisen på 85 euro pr. nat er for høj, men jeg fik, hvad jeg ønskede på nær mulighen for at ryge pibe.
