A decent place to stay, but with several issues”
The location itself is great, as it's only a 30min walk from Bodh Gaya, with nice views from the river along the way. Very difficult place to find, though (my tuk-tuk driver couldn't find an accessway and I had to walk a few hundred meters to reach it. Entrance is also unclear.) The place is clean enough, although it looks very disorganized. Despite it being winter, there was no hot water available. I booked a single room for a fixed price in Agoda, but they insisted the price was wrong and charged me 50% more at the property. I paid for it anyway since it was still cheap and I had a very late check-in; in retrospect, however, it felt a bit sketchy. Finally, take this with a grain of salt, but I made acquaintance with a local scammer who insisted the adopted children are actually only used for child labor. Given the source of this information, it's highly unreliable; on the other hand, considering how commonplace child maids are in India, it could very much be true (personally, I did have that impression).

Ansari is a beatiful place managed by a beautiful family. They are so gentle, they cook amazing food and they are always trying to help you like you are part of the family. I can't stop recommending this place.

Quieter place to stay across the bridge from the main town. Friendly and relaxing vibes you can enjoy. The owner and his all family are really welcoming and always ready to help you like a family. Definitely recommend!

A family with beautiful hearts open their home to the world. ”
When you come to Bodhgaya, stay here. This is a loving and welcoming home with an enormous heart. Islam and his family are beyond generous and kind. They opened the house to children, creating an orphanage for those in need. The children help out and their smiles and joy add to the healing energy of the house. I met some truly beautiful human beings there and am so very grateful. Not only is this a prime location for visiting what’s nearby, it is a wonderful way to contribute to something bigger and get to know the beauty of humanity.

Great value for money, good food and friendly people”
I booked room here for couple of days but ended up staying more than a week. The guesthouse is in a quiet neighborhood, 15/20 minutes walk away from Mahabodhi temple. The room I stayed was simple and spacious enough. The owner Islam and his family is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Home made food served was delicious and at reasonable price. Islam bhai was kind enough to drop me off at the train station early morning on his motorbike.

Hostel电力不足，风扇经常停住，真的好热。仅仅一晚决定离开。 这里人很贫穷，这户人家男主人说自己有四个亲生孩子，收养19个孩子，提供他们食物，男主人平时在医院工作。 自家有点土地，老婆是家庭主妇。 我预付四晚房钱，吃了二餐饭。但是听了男主人这么一说，我好像住进慈善机构。 吃住一晚我付了三千卢布。祝他们好运。
