"When I first enter the room, I found little pieces of food on the table, so I called the operator to ensure if my room has been cleaned before. I actually don’t mind removing them by myself but I was concerned about the hygiene due to Covid-19 situation. The operator said that she has no idea, she needed to ask the housekeeper. Then, another staff visited my room to pickup the pieces of food. He apologized and left. I asked if my room has been cleaned or not. He said it was an empty room and he has no idea about it. After I checked out and left for an airport. I found my ID card missing, so I called back to the hotel front. I told them that I do need the ID card to take a flight that morning and requested to have a housekeeper checking for the ID card in my room. The operator told me he will do so and call me back. It’s already another day. I’ve been back home after a very difficult situation at the airport. I never get a call. Actually, the hotel is nice and fully facilitated. The room is kind of small but lovely and convenient. The location is good. The promo price is the best. All the staff treated and talked to me very politely. But, their service is obviously careless. I hope they mind this review and improve. Then, it would be very perfect."

"Nestled away down a peaceful side street of ThongLor yet amongst the centre of Bangkok's best neighbourhood. The design & quality of fittings is that which you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. It's so peaceful here with sound proofing walls. The staff from receptionist to the security, house keeping & manager all conduct themselves with the highest level of professionalism. To say it's a bargain would be a vast understatement."

"We loved our four night stay at The Residence and would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, upscale stay in a nice quiet neighbourhood. The rooms were spacious and spotless with great facilities and a comfortable bed, and the kitchenette and washing machine came in very handy (only bummer was there was never enough hot water to have a bath, so we didn't get to use the gorgeous tub). Decent selection of English cable TV channels too. The rooftop pool area is awesome, and we spent most mornings after breakfast up there swimming and lying by the pool reading before heading out for the day. There is a great sauna and onsen but unfortunately it's only available for the men, so my boyfriend was loving it while i was pretty disappointed. There is also a water cooler in the gym area which helps if you're like us and want to limit your use of buying plastic water bottles. The breakfast is served in a hip cafe where you get high Western standard cafe meals like eggs benedict, french toast, lattes, etc, plus small buffet of extras, which was a highlight and one of the best breakfasts i've had a a hotel in Thailand. The location is about 20-30 mins walk from the BTS station, but it's a very pleasant walk with no touts, just a nice stroll through one of bangkoks more upscale neighbourhoods with plenty of massage, restaurant and street food options. Tuk tuk will take you from the hotel to the station, and coming back you can just jump on one of the motorcycle taxis which is a lot of fun and will only cost you 20 THB to the hotel door. Overall, this was our favourite hotel in Thailand during this trip over the Christmas period and we would definitely return, and highly recommend it."

"We chose this hotel on our way back to Chieng mai because of its location (near Airport extress train and MRT). We had a really wonderful time there! Check in took less than 3 min. They had all my details and my requests were perfectly met. The room was very clean and nicely decorated with 'real' wood floor and oversized windows. Bed very comfortable. Good water pressure with fantastic toiletries (natural lemongrass scent). With this quality, this is no doubt one of the best value hotels in Bangkok!"

"My favourite hotel in Bangkok, with the perfect location for shopping both in the attached centre or if you want to take the BTS and go to all the other Malls... Facilities and rooms are both fantastic and the breakfast is the best you will get in Bangkok Hotels. The staff really look after you - this is the most perfect hotel in the best location in Bangkok. I will definately stay here again and again and would highly recommend it to any travelers looking for the luxury and convenience combination."

"I liked the location. Usually I have stayed in the Banglamphu area, the backpacker place to stay. After staying there for the last 25 years whenever in Bangkok I felt like I needed a change so chose Siam area. I arrived very early, 7am, I was able to take a room at 9am. The staff at reception were not the friendliest, but at least I got my room early. The road in front of the hotel is very busy, but the room was quiet enough. The usual A/C. fridge, T.V. you expect at this price range. Wifi was good. I don't think the hotel had food, but around I found the best street food and cheap but great food restaurants I have found in Bangkok. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the massive MBK shopping mall and the impressive Siam Discovery Centre. I spent hours walking around these places until my feet were aching too much, how wonderful to have a foot massage later! Anyway, back to the hotel, it's a bit on the expensive side for me but is good value for money. For short stays in Bangkok with plenty of local shopping options I can recommend and will likely stay there again. Also close to the BTS Skytrain and Jim Thompson house."

"It is among the best in overall so far i stay in 3 hotels in Bangkok, during my trip. It is very worth for what you have paid. Not really far from BTS Sky Train Station. You can easily to access this hotel from DMK (Don Mueang) airport to BTS Mo Chit and then take around 45 minutes skytrain to BTS On Nut, then there it is. The room is big enough, with a dining table for two. A DVD player is provided, although i didn't use it. Multiple TV channel with different language, other than Thailand's channel. Microwave oven is provided. Shower strong enough to take a good shower. I took 4 nights in a row, after i saw agoda's review. "

"We stayed in this hotel in Bangkok then went to Chiang Mai then came back to Bangkok and stayed here again because its the best. Location is great because its close to a BTS. When in Bangkok, the key to getting around with ease is to stay near a subway station rather than middle of the city unless all you want to do in your trip is shopping. This place is very close to a BTS (you need to ask the staff for short cut to walk there but only 2 mins walk). It saves having to sit in a taxi for a long time and try arguing with taxi driver re. fees and taking us the long way. Its very easy and most convenient way to get around in Bangkok. This is a service apartment and i think it offers more than what a hotel can offer (apart from a minibar). It has a clean beautiful pool and a gym. Our room has a living area and a kitchen area. The apartment is very spacious. They also have self service laudry facilities which you can use and its cheaper this way. Feels like a 5 star but at a very good value. The staff is excellent and really made the hotel what it was. They are very polite and always do more than what we feel that needed to do. We have now travelled for 4 weeks in different cities and hotels and we feel this place have the best staff."
