my brother live in Abu Dhabi and i coming from sharjah to hotel Naturally, I invite my brother to spend Eid with me, I informed the hotel and gave them a copy of my room key to give it to him upon arrival when we went to the swimming pool he told me the employee had to pay 250 dirhams for my brother and his wife, He embarrassed me in front of my brother and told him to put the invoice on the expense of the room until my brother embarrassed me and said I will pay the amount

Beautiful hotel but minor hiccups”
Beautiful hotel, amazing views! Room service food was delicious. They always gave us extra bottled water. Fireworks from our room viewed both Emirates Palace and part of the Corniche fireworks--it was an amazing view. We were lucky to be given the room even though I don't think I paid extra for the view. The only hiccup we had with this hotel was that they had trouble because I made multiple reservations because our schedule changed and we stayed longer. The reception people were kind and patient, but they didn't seem to have it all together; they "forgot" we checked in for future dates, and had security come to our room (when we were in bed) to try to escort us out! What a surprise! They also tried to charge us extra taxes, which we had already paid online. Perhaps it was a fluke, as minor hiccups happened to us in our 5 star hotel in Dubai as well , but it was surprising for a 5 star hotel... My only regret was not booking Abu Dhabi for a longer time over our time in Dubai.

Pros Room is good, neat and spacious Nice views and location Has outdoor pool and beach (but not big) Cons Service was too bad. Check in took more than one and half hours Room service is horrible take hours to respond even for water. Required multiple follow ups. Pool was dirty because of people coming directly from beach. Breakfast was average

Avoid avoid avoid. ‘Beach’ - awful. Tiny ( I mean like a box room) and you’ll have to fight with other guests for sunbeds. Food- awful. Management- they don’t care. Actually they don’t have management as everybody keeps leaving. It’s only acceptable if you get this hotel for cheap otherwise there’s better options in this area. Location-good Rooms good

Very unpleasant to deal with ”
Horrific service. Arrogant and unhelpful staff. I arrived after a 20hr trip from Australia at 3pm and was forced to wait 3 hours for my room with no apologies. I was offered an upgrade room to which I agreed under the belief I could check in at 3pm without having to wait, but instead I still had to wait 3 hours. Not to mention the blatant berating of a female staff member by her male colleagues in front of myself and others. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is not from local/surrounding areas as they seem to treat female western travellers like absolute dirt.

I visited Bab al Qasr in December this year with my young children. We absolutely loved the hospitality and my children loved the beach and pool. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here. Location is perfect with lots to do nearby.

Vi var vildt imponerede over dette hotel. Super flotte omgivelser, dejligt hjælpsom personale - og skønt med muligheden for at lave sit eget mad. Pool området og stranden fantastisk. Det eneste minus var, at restaurenten er for lille til at rumme alle gæsterne til morgenmaden.
