Poor Hotel Management”

Checking in was smooth. Booked a premier suite room. Clean and comfortable. Found out pool is closed for a DJ party. Asked for any complimentary as the pool closing is to the benefits of the hotel, not due to maintenances. Ignored by Staff. At 7pm. An event started just below my room. Can hear everything ongoing at the event. Called receptionist, informed me event will end at 12am. So imagine, noises from below meeting room, loud pumping DJ music from rooftop. All this happened on 20.07.2019. And my room at the 2nd floor is categorized as Quiet Zone..!!

Although It's not a new Hotel but still keep it in very clean and nice. Breakfast is Good (But 8.30am will be the second release food more choices) Staff is very friendly and location is Good. walking distance got a cafe to open Till 11pm and also to Massage.

Worth of Value”

It is near to the popular place of Melaka - Jonker Street, within 15 mins of driving distance can be reached. Equipped of open space parking beside the hotel, just 2-3 mins of walking distance to reach hotel. Relaxing and nice scent upon step into the hotel lobby and room. Wide and comfortable for Executive Deluxe Room with king size bed (with window). Actual room condition is nicer than photos shown at website. Except for the covers of pillows which are a bit yellowish, swimming pool is small and no privacy, other than that is almost close to perfect. Will go for this hotel for my future trip in Melaka and recommend to friends and family.

Overall Stay was ok. Feedback below:- 1) Staff was friendly which makes check in a breeze. 2)Stained & Torn Pillow Case for consecutive 2 days 3) 1 room had face towels & the other 2 don't have. 4) Wifi was down during our 1st day there. 5) Fridge in 1 room was very smelly. 6) Breakfast could have been better; limited choices 7) Great location; within walking distance to Tong Seng, Mahkota Parade Shopping etc

Decided this hotel when i read thru reviews by previous guest. Not sure how u people rate your stay but it's really not worth the value we paid. - Rooms cleanliness is average. U can see it's not properly cleaned. - Beds comfortable. - Wi-Fi good - Rooms smell funny. They use some kind of air freshener. - Towels provided were too old. Time to be replaced. - Funny parking policy which is not guest friendly. Hotel guest will b given a parling voucher. If u lost it.. Rm50 fine imposed?? Hello we are your guest ya. - . Parking for hotel guest is outdoor. Not covered. Location is good. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Overall this hotel is not bad but it's a bit too pricey for it's standard. No wonder hotel occupancy rate in Melaka dropped. Rates are way too pricey.

Convenient”

Good location, surrounded by shops & restaurants. Breakfast selection was limited but still OK. Parking was free and easy. Sound proofing could have been better. There were some weird people near my room that kept opening and slamming their door while talking loudly late at night. Luckily, it only happened for 1 night. The room was small, had some defects, but still quite clean. Mini fridge was annoying, the desk vibrates noisily when it starts up. Wish I could turn it off.

I never thought the hotel from checking in, facilities, food until checked out..honestly? THE BEST EVER!!! Easy on checked in! The front line staff very helpful! friendly! The facilities EXCELLENT! The food OMG!!! DELICIOUS!!! Fried Rice (sounds simple one) very tasty!!! Thumbs up to the chef! I must says, definitely we will stay again if we come to Melaka! Another thing, I never seen cleaner (female staff wearing hijab I cant recall her name) do her job VERY GOOD! She should get an award! Thank you team & crew Eco Tree Hotel!!! You guys THE BEST & WELL DONE! To Management - you guys should reward your staff for their best in giving to the customer! ;)

Nice hotel with friendly staffs!”

I was checked in last Thursday and checked out on Saturday. Your foreign staff at the counter greeted me even i just step in the floor from escalator.. what a friendly staff! Room was okay with the reasonable rate that i paid.. no comment much because this is what i paid and i get. I enjoy myself at Skydeck at roof top on Thursday night. Your two piece band was amazing and they are really awesome singing my favourite song even though raining, however they still entertained and accompany me until late midnight. Music selection was accepted! What a beautiful day in Ecotree Hotel! Surely will come back soon!

As always, Eco Tree never disappoints. Clean and fragrant rooms, squeaky clean bathrooms, comfy beds, great breakfast, pleasant staffs, excellent location, ample parking space (albeit open-air car park). Total value for money. Always my favorite choice in Malacca. Highly recommended!

Comfortable hotel. Quiet. Near attractions. ”

1. The gym can be better maintained. While running on the treadmill, the treadmill can slip and jerk. It is dangerous. 2. There is a musty smell in the gym. Other than these, excellent stay. Good delicious breakfast. Polite and attentive staff. Housekeeping was excellent. Room very well made up and clean.

Disappointed - 1st and last time stay”

We booked Eco Tree for 3D2N. Already put very clear remark when we did the booking : DO NOT arrange corner room for us and late check in. When we reached the hotel already 1030pm. The hotel receptionist just informed us that the room type we booked all are at corner. We trying ask him help us chg room, downgrade or upgrade also doesn’t matter, we will pay the balance. But, he told us, that’s full booked for this few days. Fine... that’s no choice. When we walk to the room, the corridor was so dark... Our room is at end of corridor of 5th floor. My hubby was found a needle on carpet of our room. The aircon seems like spoiled and the room was soooo warm even we on the aircon 2 hours already. My hubby trying to get the hotel technician to check the aircon. The technician just checked and old us, wait more half and hour if still same, mean you guys have to shift room? But, receptionist keep told us, no room can shift, as all room are occupied ! 2am, I really cannot stand anymore. I keep sweating while sleep... the room too warm. My hubby and me decided packed our luggage, we want do check out immediately and stay at other better hotel. When we went down to reception with our very unhappy faces as we really feel irritating (how to stay in a WARM room?). The receptionist just informed us, that’s a last minutes cancellation booking, so he can shift us to the room if we ok? So, he do us the free upgrade to studio suite immediately ... the room aircon finally is working... But we won’t go back to this hotel anymore. As we already put the remark very clear while we doing the booking. Why they didn’t notice ? By the way , this is 1st time and last time for us to stay at this hotel.

Not friendly reception!”

This is our second time staying here . My first experience was so good.. but at this time , 2 lady staff at the reception was very rude . We’re booking for two room and when we check in , one of our room still not done yet . The other lady said “bagi tgkat 6 and tingkat 2” but we refused , because we want room at the same floor , but the lady said “eh mana ada bilik lain lagi! Kalau nak suruh dia tunggu bilik 1 lagi tu siap!!” .. we are ok if you talk nicely to us ! But the way you serve cust , really2 make us disappointed!!

I have been a few hotels before this but this would be the best so far and will repeat again for sure. the foods not variety but its okay . ive got first floor so easy for me to went out with small boy. parking nearby with security guard. pool was nice with sound. overall. im enjoyed staying here😘😘😘😘

Poor communication ”

Not sure whether issue is with app or hotel. I communicated with hotel via app, but no response. Very poor. Used other booking app, and responses from hotel very prompt. Will reconsider using agoda again in future. Very disappointed. First time user.
