Perfect location!”
I stayed for 4 nights and it was absolutely perfect for me. When I travel, I like to stay in a place where I can reach all the public transformations easily. This hotel-hostel was surrounded with bus stops. I loved it a lot. So, you can go anywhere you want. People usually rent cars in Jeju. So, if you are dependent on public transportation like me, it’d be a nice place to stay for you as well. Also, the area is quite lively. There are many stores, restaurants, pharmacies etc around. Basically anything you need is available. Olle market is couple streets behind. Cheonjiyeon waterfalls takes 20-25 min by walking. The room was nice as well. I stayed in 4-people sharing room and it had private shower/toilet. Bed was big enough. There was even a small fridge inside the room. There was no lockers. I did not need any since I carried all my valuable things with me. But in case, you need. Keep this in mind. Bedside light has usb cable. So, to turn it on, you need usb charger.

I had an amazing stay! Mr. Samuel, the receptionist was really kind and accommodating. Location is superb! It’s near the Olle everyday market and is right smack in the Arang Jeoul Food street. I stayed in the dorm room and the layout was really nice. Simple but had everything I needed. Bathroom was clean. Facilities were amazing. There’s a reading nook, a game room and you can rent the bikes for free. I would 100% stay again. Thanks again Samuel for the hospitality!

Good location. Near bus stop to airport. Seogwipo olle market is near. Many restaurant around the hotel. The room is enough and comfortable for two of us. Just enjoy my stay here and will be back again.

I am staying in a female dormitory for 3 nights and surprisingly the room is spacious, have all basic facilities you needed like hair dryer, electric kettle, mug, and TV with a lots of channel. Not to forget a clean toilet and toiletries were provided. The location is in the Arang Food street and walking distance to Olle Market. Plenty of good restaurant and 24hr convenient store. Most importantly walking distance to bus stop. Staff speaking a very good and clear English. I love staying at Gaon J and later if I come to Jeju I will definitely stay here again.

Limited parking space but I’m sure you can find nearby spot. The place was nice and cozy. There was one stink bug in my room but it seems to be something normal in Jeju as they already prepared for you bug spray. Just a quick walk from the mart and close to market. Recommended!

The room is cozy. The staff was super nice and helpful. You can also rent a bicycle (day time). It is walking distance to Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market. I love everything about this place!

Spacious room, walking distance from nearby bus interchange”
The hotel is near Jung-ang rotary bus stop and Seogwipo Registration bus stop. About 5 mins walk from the bus stops to reach the hotel. And about 1-2 mins from hotel to the Maeil Olle Market. Bed is very comfortable and toilet is spacious. Staff is very friendly, one of the male staff can speak in mandarin and gave us a map of the town and explained to us where we can visit. Overall, a pleasant stay. Thank u.

Perfect budget hotel”
We stayed 4 nights in Hotel Gaon J stay. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants, bus stops, laundromats and within reasonable walking distance to the waterfalls. Staff is very friendly, helpful and speaks English. Our room and bed was small. The bed was also a bit to hard for us. The white thin curtains don't block the sunlight, so you wake up as the sun rises (in our case very early). The two seating areas downstairs are a bonus. One room is partly a game room, with pool table etc. Nothing beats the price of this hotel. Especially if compared to all the other hotels in Korea we stayed in so far.

The room was spacious and we had a comfortable stay after driving around Jeju. There is a parking lot available in the basement for parking. Overall we had a great stay even it was just for one night.

Old town settings a bit hard to find parking in/just beside the hotel. But friendly English/Chinese speaking staffs will show you the nearest public parking areas. Hostel type facilities on ground floor are sufficiently good. Building structure itself needs refurbish for longer sustainability.
