We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Only disappointment I had was could not get any beers from the restaurant. Otherwise the breakfast was good with plenty of varieties to choose.

Nice family hotel in Bengkulu”

A nice starred hotel in a fast growing city. It clean and had friendly staffs who eager to help. The hotel location was good and quite close to the city's point of interests. It was easy to find any food since some food stalls and simple restaurants were in walking distance from the hotel. For them who wanted to try some local foods, they could try to have some when they had their breakfast because the hotel provide some local foods in their buffet. Unfortunately, however, the swimming pool was quite small. It seemed that the pool was only for kids.

Very cheap, clean, modern”

Almost everything is excellent. Only several issues: 1. Bed room in 516 has cigarette smell. 2. Breakfast staffs are slow in removing dirty dishes. 3. Breakfast staffs didn't approach us to ask tea or coffee. Normal standard but seems they don't do it consistently to all guests. 4. Breakfast staffs didn't make any attempts to collect breakfast vouchers nor record which guests supposed to pay extra because those guests were not eligible to have breakfast. Normally, 1 room only consists of 2 guests. So, only these 2 persons can have breakfast. More than 2 guests from the same room then the staff should tell them that they have to pay extra. That didn't happen here. Impact: the food runs out so quickly because over capacity of the guests at the breakfast lounge. Thus, people sometimes 4 or 5 persons came from only one room can freely have breakfast.

Friendly staffs as always”

Every time I have to travel to Bengkulu, this hotel is my priority destination for staying. Always enjoy the variety of breakfast they have. Usually they also have local traditional foods or snacks, so you won't have wandering around just to taste the culture. Friendly staffs are a plus too

It was a nice stayed. Friendly staff with a big smiles and greetings. A fast check in and out, we requested for late check out and its granted although we did it at 11am. Superior room has no mini bar and refrigerator but it was meet santika standard. Swimming pool area need major refurbishment. Due high level Chlorine contain in the pool, you can actually smell it.. and seems water didn't well regulated, we refuse to use it. Breakfast variety is the best in town as well as the room service. We highly recommend santika bengkulu for people traveling with family, business, or the first timer in bengkulu.

One of the best in town”

I love many things about the hotel. Except that they put me in a smoking room/floor, but the smell in the room wasn't that bad. We didn't talk about my room preference during check-in, although it was fast process and I could check in early, the reception was super helpful. check out was easy too. Most of the staff were attentive and friendly. I love the breakfast. The room was actually pretty big and comfortable. Centrally located and they provide easy airport transfers (pick up and drop off). The hotel was quite busy with families and children and they dominate the indoor pool. I would stay here again if I'm coming to Bengkulu next time.

Good base to see Bengkulu”

The hotel has clean and relatively comfortable rooms. Decor is simple, yet is functional. Hotel seems to be quite modern with fittings that are new and relatively good soundproofing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is ok, average to above average, but it is good to have relaxed buffet breakfast. The location is quite central, walking maybe 15 mins to centre of town, or you can take a public bus (3000 rupiah to the main central locations - benteng (fort), rumah Bung Karno (Sukarno's house), beach). Some other hotels are more central, but this one seems to have the best comfort. This is not a huge town anyway, so a 15 min walk is quite pleasant. The hotel pool is small, but is there for a few short laps if needed. Overall this is a good place to relax while in Bengkulu with attentive and friendly staff.

Great service but small bed ”

We take 2 superior rooms for our family (four adult and 2 young children). Hotel staff was qualified, helpful and nice response for our inquiry. We take king size rather than twin bed but it's seem not enough for me, my wife and my young children (age 2 years). Beside lift are a small room for fitness centre with a little equipment and also a swimming pools, separated for 2 kind of depth (0.5 m for kids and 1.5 m). Breakfast was quite tasty but with only 1 food variant (only fish or only chicken or beef, if you don't like it, you have no option) Overall, we have satisfied with Santika Hotel Bengkulu, with the exceptional above comment

Slightly away from center of town but still acceptable level. Morning buffet is ok as 3 star hotel. but not many choices Front staffs are friendly to responding request. Ordinary room no cold storage, Slightly noisy if the people are in corridor.

the best hotel in bencoolen ”

We arrived on second day, due cancellation flight from batam to bengkulu. the Duty manager has been informed, we might not stay in the first night. He reserved and checked us in room. Second stayed here, not much improved for swimming pool ... crowded and management must rules no swimming without proper swim suit to all guests and strictly prohibited for guest only. So far I seen security guard only asked guest to register their room number, but perhaps they also brought visitors to swim along. Sadly, we found a kid naked swam. Again, we never plunged into water, only played with kids in the playground. We found Santika must redesign the shower room due water trap on the wrong side, not into drainage. Here and santika bogor have same problems. Toilet bowl was perfect. Bed was comfortable, breakfast met santika standards. We highly recommended santika for your stay in Bengkulu (Bencoolen) as well as Mr President of Indonesia choice hotel in town during his stayed.

Feel Like Home”

I was stayed in these Hotel for bussines trip. The Lift is so small, I get a little problem to get upfloor. The room were clean. Breakfast there were nice, many various food local and western breakfast is good. But You have to woke up early, sometimes after 8 O clock in the morning the food is finished. Location is close enough with centre city, but you have to move away from Htel if you want fine a good dinner...

More like a prison than a hotel”

Trying to be a 3/4 star hotel when it is 2 star at best. Dreadful location in a dirty, central area, tiny pool which smells of damp and rotten wood decking, expensive drinks - nearly as much for a beer as a 5* in Jakarta. AND they ripped me off for a taxi fare to the beach so they could charge a service fee. Santika feels like a prison

Best hotel in Bengkulu”

If you ever visit Bengkulu and look for a convinient hotel, simply pick this hotel. This hotel is the best hotel in Bengkulu beside a couple more hotels. The downside was the price in Agoda was more expensive rather than having direct check in. Usually if I got higher price through Agoda, the hotel would provide me a room upgrade, but not at this time. I think Agoda should check about this.

The room is spacious, however it is lack of amenities. The internet coverage doesnt reach the room I stayed in. Breakfast is average, nothing special. Located in suburb area of Bengkulu, Staff is ok, and helpful. But I dont think this will be a good value for money

I was attending a seminar in Bengkulu, it was great experience staying here again..it is a good building hotel, strong and nice building. Again, the internet is free, you can take benefit for this compared to other hotels. food is so-so I guess, ok, but not that best. The food price is ok, but the drink is bit higher, so i think you should be aware of this. Go to local store for buying drinks, and bring to your hotel room if possible. Location is great, quite near to downtown. From airport around 10km away..

MOST COMPETITIVE RATE AT MAX FACILITIES &QUALITIES”

We are never be dissapointed when staying at this hotel, because of its quality competence. The Santika hotel chain brand all over Indonesia, is almost the same standard. You can compare the building look, and the qualities of the material they used in the room. You could never be wrong when choosing this hotel for competitive rate. You can find others hotel in the town, but I would say there are some parts missing when compared to Santika hotel. Either the quality of the room material, the building itself, the design, also the cleanliness of the hotel. Many hotels offers you slightly lower rate for staying, but would you dare sacrifice your money for cheaper hotel with non-standard of manner of the staff, flees you can find in the room, the toilet molds, the staff being not very attentive, no formal greeting at the front office, food at non standard service (no staff attending, food corner with old & not clean place, moreover the non consistent taste of food, the varieties of the food)...Hmmmmh...stay at Santika, and stay for the others , and you will catch the details I mentioned easily...
