The facilities and rooms are quite clean and airy. The staff team is attentive and enthusiastic. The location is in the center of Mui Ne. The sea-view rooms are very beautiful and poetic. There is a lovely and clean private beach. Especially, there is a rocky area perfect for stunning sunset photos. However, the soundproofing in the rooms is not very good, and there is a slight musty smell possibly due to the wood. There are signs of deterioration such as peeling paint on the walls and the balcony door being a bit wobbly. The breakfast buffet that we went to at 8 AM had food that was too cold to eat. Fortunately, there were some cold dishes that were acceptable, and the noodle dish was really delicious. Overall, with 1.2 million VND per night after discount and cashback, this is a wonderful experience and worth the money.
I booked the Family Room for 4 pax for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive to my requests for a room on a high floor. The room was clean and spacious as well with a nice view of the pool and beach. Location wise, the hotel was ideally located close to a number of eateries and walking distance to Mui Ne Beach. Overall, we had a good stay and I would recommend the resort!
Strengths: - Located at the beginning of Nguyen Dinh Chieu street - Has a wide, airy garden - The view from the garden overlooks a beautiful beach - Spacious rooms, fully equipped - Toilet has a strong exhaust fan and good odor elimination - Air conditioning is cool - Delicious breakfast dishes - Friendly staff. The parking attendant is very energetic. Weaknesses: - Although it was inaugurated in 2017, the hotel design is very poor, rural and bad, from the parking lot, lobby, rooms, swimming pool, garden,... It looks like a hotel from 1997. - The hotel is on a curve but the entrance is very narrow, not eye-catching and quite dangerous. - The parking lot is small. Cars are cramped, squeezed with motorcycle parking spaces. - The lobby is ugly and heavy. - The elevator is extremely slow. - Long, ugly corridors that look very creepy at night. - Rooms have old, unattractive furniture, styled like those of a countryside hotel from the 1990s. Pillows have an odor. The balcony door gets stuck when opened. The lighting system is bad and unreasonable. - All beverage items in the room are from strange brands, except for Dasani bottled water. - The swimming pool has a strong bleach smell. The logo on the pool floor is very slippery, as if covered in algae. After swimming, the skin is dry and cannot wash off the smell. The skin on my hands is peeling. - Very few breakfast options; except for noodle dishes (pho, banh canh,...) and desserts, the other dishes are all bad. - The garden used to look beautiful, especially the area for viewing the sea, but this time it looks messy and cluttered. nice resort, clean, nice hammocks to chill. Construction starts at 7 am so wear ear plugs to sleep if you plan on sleeping in. The restaurants and stores are a bit of a walk to get to...10minutes+.

Review for Caty Beach Resort and Spa, Mui Ne We recently stayed at Caty Beach Resort and Spa in Mui Ne and had a pleasant overall experience. The resort grounds are spacious, well-maintained, and offer a relaxing outlook. However, some facilities, such as the beachside bar, swimming pool, and games room, feel a bit dated. On the positive side, the restaurant has been recently renovated and is spacious, with a peaceful ambiance during breakfast. The breakfast spread offers a good variety, though it leans more towards local Vietnamese dishes rather than a full Western-style option—something to keep in mind if you’re hoping for a traditional Western breakfast. The 9:30 a.m. cutoff for breakfast is standard across most Vietnamese resorts, but we appreciated the peaceful environment and lack of crowds due to the quieter nature of the resort. We stayed in a family room, which was a highlight of our trip. The room was clean, spacious, and included a separate bedroom—a welcome feature after a long day exploring. The shower was generously sized, and we enjoyed a lovely sea view from our room. However, there was construction happening near our building during our stay, which began at 7 a.m. It wasn’t overly noisy, but it might be worth checking with the resort about ongoing projects if you’re considering booking. The location of the resort is at the start of Mui Ne, a couple of kilometers away from the main restaurant and bar area. This wasn’t an issue for us, as Grab rides were just a few minutes and a few dollars away. For families, the resort’s proximity to Little Buddha Beach surf school and the nearby food trucks along the foreshore is fantastic—both are highly recommended and easily walkable with kids. One downside is the state of the beaches, which are affected by plastic pollution, a common issue across Vietnam. That said, once you’re in the water, it’s quite pleasant. Overall, Caty Beach Resort and Spa offers a good base for a relaxing stay in Mui Ne, particularly if you’re looking for peaceful surroundings and family-friendly features. With a few updates to the dated facilities and attention to the surrounding construction, it could be even better.
