We stayed for 3 nights in a villa with private pool. It was very well located to the main resort buildings and pools so walking was quite easy. The villa was beautiful, clean and very well maintained, especially for being so close to the coast which can degrade buildings quickly due to sun and salt water. All the amenities in the villa were excellent and we did not have any complaints at all related to hot water, appliances, air con or space. Everything was well-appointed and worked. Only a few small complaints but I don't want these to diminish my overall feeling of being VERY satisfied and pleasantly surprised. Online complaints related to check-in and using electric cart service were well-founded. But we were patient and gave ourselves enough time to deal with the delays. The restaurants were pretty good overall, with solid food choices and variety keeping us happy. Food quality was 4 out of 5 stars in my mind. Downside was breakfast was chaotic and crowded with running kids and noise level was pretty bad. Food ran short at times and when we arrived on the later side for breakfast the tables were all a mess and so was the floor... One big miss I believe was the special dinner-only restaurant down below the infinity pool. We meant to return to try it but forgot and turns out the decor in there was really amazing and would have been an nice change from the restaurants up the hill. None of the staff nor any signage reminded us to eat at this particular location on the campus. Need to market this more! My biggest complaint was probably related to them allowing kids in the infinity pool. It was two levels which was very cool but there were a LOT of kids in the upper level and they also let them down in the lower level as well. Keep in mind, there was at least THREE other pools for JUST the kids AND a lazy river! Adults without kids need a place to relax without the issues that come with kids in a pool. We spent six days at Centara and had a fantastic experience. The resort is expansive—set on 49 hectares—so buggies are used to get around. We found the system incredibly efficient. Using the resort’s app to request a pick-up was seamless, and the longest we waited was about a minute. Staff often offered us a lift when they saw us walking, which was a lovely touch. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and impeccably clean. For families of four, I highly recommend the two-bedroom villas for the added space and comfort. Our kids absolutely loved every part of the resort—from the arcade and swimming pool to foam parties and nightly fire shows. There was always something happening, and with the mid-week stay, it never felt crowded. We found ourselves perfectly content staying within the resort most of the time. Although there isn’t much directly outside the resort, it's easy to explore nearby areas with affordable Grab taxis, making everything accessible. We also appreciated that Centara employs mostly local staff. While some had limited English, we never found it to be a barrier—Google Translate worked just fine when needed. In fact, it’s a testament to the resort’s commitment to supporting the local community, which we truly respected. The staff were outstanding. We had an enjoyable stay on a Sunday night to avoid the busier weekend. The room was well-appointed and clean, the bed was comfortable and nice pillows. Reception and guest relations staff were pleasant and helpful. Nice pools if you choose a day or time that's not crowded. The downsides: there is no beach and is one of the decisions we were weighing up, but we chose it for the facilities and there is plenty to do within the resort. The pool water at the pirate ship is dirty with all sorts floating in the water, a combination of the soft rubber flooring which has deteriorated and sand around the sun beds. I suggest to remove the sand, it makes the whole area (water and sunbeds) dirty. We had lunch at the "Italian" restaurant after checking out and were the only customers. The quality of the pizza was below average and they need to improve the pizza dough recipe. With all the families it seems liked a missed opportunity. Room service prices seemed a bit high for some items, probably because there are no other options around and due to they need to deliver to your room/ villa by buggy. Breakfast was fine but with so many guests catered to large groups rather than high quality items or selection. We were put upstairs and there was less fruit selection

Check-in: Crowded lobby 2pm, but good to note there are sufficient seats for accompanying guests while their family member/partner wait in line to check in. Good use of technology as well with the robo serving complimentary chilled drinks in glass cups, replenished timely. Happy to see all the counters opened, with all the Guest Service Agents doing their utmost best to clear the queues. We were pleasantly attended and checked in by GSA Nguyen, who assigned us a nice room at 605101. She introduced the property and key info to us with her gentle yet clear voice, and maintained her polite smile despite the possible pressure from long queue. Overall a smooth check in - a very important first touchpoint of any stay! Stay: the room was true to the photos. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Good job to the housekeeping team. The buggy team was also well organised, sending guests to-and-fro rooms to various parts of the property such as swimming pool, lobby, breakfast place, property entrance etc. Had to make 2-3calls to the operator to request for buggy during breakfast and check out times, but understandably these are peak period. Check-out: We were checked out by GSA Hien, who greeted and thanks us for staying. A simple procedure yet she can make a good impression. We had the coconut ice creams from the softserve machine (30k vnd per cone) and was served by GSA Willow. Willow was popular with kids and displayed patience when the kids infront of me took some time to decide their choice of flavor. I observed that she made good eye contact with the guests, and when handing over the ice creams she does it with both hands, and also gave a nice smile. In summary, a perfect stay with Centara Mirage. Will surely be back again for a longer stay. Good infrastructure, with organised supporting teams (housekeeping, landscaping, buggy), as well as clearly well-trained front office team with very good soft skills. Thanks for the great stay!

“Great vacation”
I'm not a professional travel writer. This is my impression of a vacation combined with my child's birthday. Thank you Centara Mirage – for the wonderful vacation experience in Mui Ne. I recently had the chance to stay at Centara Mirage Mui Ne, and I was truly impressed by the ambiance, service, and the little details that are full of elegance here. 1. Amazing resort: The entire property is designed like a coastal European village, very beautiful and provides a relaxing, peaceful feeling. The cool green space, harmonious architecture, and every corner can become a perfect "Instagram-worthy" background. 2. Friendly and attentive staff: From check-in to check-out, the staff were all very lovely, welcoming, and always ready to assist. Especially, the receptionists and restaurant staff were extremely enthusiastic and thoughtful. 3. A paradise for children: The kids' play area is diverse, with mini water parks, climbing areas, ball pits, and outdoor activities... my child played endlessly without getting bored. 4. There isn't a sandy beach as expected, but it is compensated by a large infinity pool with many super beautiful photo spots. Sitting here watching the sunset is already "chill" enough! 5. The lighthouse is an interesting highlight, from here you can see the whole Mui Ne at night – a truly worthwhile experience. 6. The weekends can be crowded, so the shuttle electric car runs a bit slower than normal, but the waiting time is not too long, just under 10 minutes, which is still completely acceptable. 7. A very cute plus point: If your birthday coincides with your stay, the resort will give you a small but meaningful cake. A sweet surprise! 8. A small note: It is advisable to choose a room package that includes breakfast and lunch at the resort for convenience and savings. In the evening, you can go to Nguyen Dinh Chieu street to enjoy fresh seafood at reasonable prices. In summary: Centara Mirage is an ideal destination for families with young children or couples looking for a beautiful, comfortable resort with good service. I will definitely come back!
