Close to the main train station”
The hotel is in a great location if needing to catch a train or plane in Frankfurt. Also, a short walk into the old town makes it even more attractive. The staff were very helpful. We weren't looking for luxury - just a convenient, affordable and clean hotel for a short stay.

Hotel at top location, convenient for tram/train travellers. A lot of restaurants nearby. Hotel is old but clean. Staff is very cooperative specially Pakistani guys on the front desk were quick and to the point. Decent breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to others

I have been at this hotel quite few times before also and Id come again. Conveniently located. Hotel is old but clean. Last few times I stayed when I was given bigger room. Room was too small this time. A BIG NO in summer. No.AC. you cannot breath in room. I'd to open window and keep room door open for ventilation. Could not sleep due to outside noise. Small slow speed fan was given but no use. Never book in summer.

The hotel was very well located for a number of bars restaurants and fast food places. Frankfurt does suffer with vagrants near the the train station. The hotel is near a subway that can be used for to avoid vagrants and the busy road traffic near the hotel

All towels were dirty, with cosmetic and finger spots on it. Toilet was with black shades like they haven't cleaned it normally for a long time. Empty covered with ice fridge. And pillow was very old so you can't even relax on it. Breakfast and location of the hotel were nice.

Pity only stayed a Night”
Hotel is nicely located and really close to Frankfurt (Main) train station. This was our last stop for our 10 day trip. The room was really nice, newly renovated. The bathroom and toilet also looks good and professional. There was a LCD TV mounted on the wall and the switch was just beside my headboard. We really like the room alot and would definitely come back to National Hotel.

location 1.5 blocks from central train station at affordable price”
The area surrounding the central station doesn´t have much to offer in tourist attractions, but on this occasion our top priority was the convenience of quick and easy access to the trains. The Hotel National was fewer than 2 blocks away from the station, and we didn´t need more than 5 minutes to reach our respective departure platforms - all at a competitive price. The hotel is a non-smoking property. Our standard room had a high ceiling and was comfortable all-around. The amount of space was average for a city hotel in Europe, and the closet was more than adequate in terms of area. The room included complimentary coffee and tea, a mini-bar with basic stock, flat-screen TV with international programming, and safety-deposit box. All staff members were courteous, efficient, and fluent in English. We truly enjoyed the breakfast buffet which is open from 6:30 or so until 10:00. We were very satisfied with our stay and look forward to trying to reserve this hotel again for another trip later this year!

I had a great stay in this hotel, which is just 2 minutes away by walk from Frankfurt main station and 5 minutes walk from bus station. I stayed in a single room and it was really spacious. Also the bathroom is clean, new and big! Their breakfast is quite good as well. I recommend this hotel.
