"We parked in the car park behind the hotel, went through the back door, and few of the staff of the minimarket adjacent to the hotel were standing smoking in the open air. The hotel foyer looked very dirty with old furniture and torn carpet. We though we had made a mistake in our booking and this hotel was definitely not a 4star one. However, we soon changed our mind when went to our room. It was spacious, super clean with a very nice bathroom."

"This used ot be a much smaller hotel. We have been staying at this hotel since 2001 whenever we are in Berlin which is usually at least twice per year. Staff can be a bit brusk, but when it comes to helping you with any problems you may have; we have found them to be really helpful. Staff at breakfast are really friendly and the food choices is really the best I have found in Berlin, in all the years I have been using hotels in what is a beautiful city. I have had some booking problems in the past, and found the staff on my arrival to be superb in resolving them. This has been due to errors made by the companies I have used to place my internet booking."
