Room is good but hotel lift is very busy”
I visited Shenzhen about 4 times a year. I always stayed around HuaQiangBei area. This review is made after 3 separate stays of average 4 nights each. I have tried many hotels in the area and found that although a bit expensive, the hotel is quite good. Unlike typical 3 stars or below hotels in China, the staff speak acceptable Chinglish. They provide good speed wide band internet connection. The entrance to the lobby from the street is quite strange. You would have to carry your bags through narrow steps, go to a little lift entrance area and use the lift to 2nd floor where the reception is. If you carry many bags or large bags, you would have some trouble getting there. Overall it is a pleasant stay.

Comfortable but communication not good”
I'm not sure why this is called Chicago Suites International, because it is not in Chicago, the rooms aren't suites (at least mine wasn't), and it doesn't feel very international. Nor would I say that it qualifies as a four-star hotel. The biggest drawback was communication, or lack of it. Yes, I know this hotel is in China, so no surprise that the desk staff speak Chinese. But you would expect that to support the "international" image, they'd have at least one person who can also speak functional English, and this isn't the case. However, the rooms are clean, quiet, A/C sufficiently cool, and the beds soft and comfortable. The bathrooms are decent too, though the shower is quirky. You really have to spend some time fiddling with the controls to keep temperature moderate and stable. The location is quite good. It is very near a metro station and there are lots of restaurants around that include cheaper noodle places as well as a McDonald's There's also a 7-11 next door. All in all, I would recommend the place and wouldn't be deterred from staying there again.

Excellent value, location, and service”
I'm a frequent visitor at this hotel, and I've always been pleased at the value and the quality of service. This is a very nice hotel with relatively inexpensive suites that makes it useful for families. The quality of service and the quality of the rooms is excellent, and the suite that I stayed in had things like slippers, nice towels, a robe, and is much cheaper than at an international hotel. The location is also excellent. As far as the negatives: * I am a native Chinese speaker, but I saw the staff struggling with English. I found that the staff was excellent, and I could see that they were trying to help the guest, but there may be something of a language barrier for non-Chinese speakers. * The hotel is odd because it is inside an office building. This means that you have to share the elevators with office workers and the elevators seem slow.

i had a wonderful time @ shenzhen, it was a + point staying @ chicago suites. mrt just a 5 minute walk with lots of food and 7 eleven below the hotel. if i visit shenzhen again... im bunking here for sure! cheers!

Great Location but poor image”
the hotel is located within 5mins walk to 2 mrt stations along two different lines. it is near to the technology street and also few big shopping malls. macdonalds, kfc and other foods are within walking distance as well. since i'm meeting a few business partners in the hotel, the hotel lobby is only 2 star in my opinion. i have to meet my business partner in the restaurant below the hotel instead. i will consider this hotel again if i'm travelling solo next time. but for this price at this excellent location, i wouldn't say it is a bad deal.

The best location in shenzhen when you need to live in the center of Shenzhen. 10 mins by walking from hotel to Saige the center of Electronic square. And it's convenient to have a dinner around the hotels and easy to go to airport bus station on the next block. Ke Xue Guan Subway station is only 20meters from hotel entrance of which easy to go everywhere in Shenzhen by subway then take a cab to your destination.

Good stay”
It's best to print out a map of the hotel so the Taxi driver will be able to know where it is. Try not to take Taxi from those offer when exit Shenzhen airport. They are private Taxi without meter charged. Walk out turn right and there's a queue of taxis with meter charge. It cost me around 120 RMB from Airport to this Hotel.

Nice hotel with an apartment concept”
This hotel provides rooms with an apartment concept. I got the Promotion Double Room which is nice a spacious with an well equipped bathroom with a tub! There was a kitchen too in the room. However, the hotel did not provide any cooking and dining equipment so to cook in the hotel will require one to either bring or buy a set. This does kind of defeats the purpose of the kitchen. I will rather they actually turn that space into something more useful. Another point to note is the elevators are extremely slow. Beside those two points, the entire experience this hotel provides is excellent. Nice location from eateries and the electronics area. In between to different MRT stations servicing different lines. Clean and nicely equipped rooms.

I love this place, it is very nice room , nice setting for the price I paid. It is not far from the train station and the Huaqiangbei are where electronics market is. Will be back again.

The check-in was fast and staff was very helpful in attending to the needs. Staff also offered to change the room to suit my needs when I express them. Though I did not decide to do so, I was left happy compared to other hotels I have stayed in. The room was spacious and was cosy.

Great price and nice amenities”
booked hotel on short notice and got a great price. room turned out to be much larger than i expected with a full kitchenette, sofa, and even a little balcony. be warned the area surrounding the hotel is very 'local', but if you're like me that works to it's advantage - there's a place to buy fruit a little ways up yannan rd, there's a couple of local eateries that provide cheap meals, but if you really need it there's a mcdonald's close by too.

Great for location and convenience”
For those who can't find it - access is on the left hand side of the building, or there is an elevator at the front on the left hand side of the restaurant. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor to find the reception. Staying here is a great alternative to staying in Hong Kong, and access to Hong Kong International Airport is very easy from Huang Gang border crossing.

... so dirty everything is rotten. toilet door cannot close, water is not hot and no pressure, the sofa is stains, the building is full of 2nd smokes, chigago suite is a total disaster!! Agoda please investigate into this hotel, its crazy to have this on your platform.
