I'm here with my friends, coming to Penang travelling together. Let me explain in detail about this hotel. The Room. The room is quite spacious for 4 people. 2 queen bed, a bathroom, even we still got lots of space, Spacious!! The bathroom is big too, hot water pressure is good. The Amenities are complete enough. The Staff, well they were okay, not too good but also not bad, just fine enough. They let us put our luggages when we're out goin around in Penang on our last day. The place? Strategic enough. There were lots of bars if you like partying. A fine dining resto is just beside the hotel. Convenience store just 50 metres. Street food? Oh Gawd you're gonna love it in the afternoon and the evening. Bus stop in few metres. komtar just 800m. They have lift! Breakfast? no the dont have it. but who needs breakfast in hotel when you have all the food around the street! Gonna stay here next time over and over again!

Definitely the best hotel in Georgetown!”
Everything about this budget hotel is perfect for us. Located inside the city but still got ample parking lot, clean & comfortable accommodation, warm & attentive staff. Attractions, malls, cafes & mamaks are only in a walking distance. It is so easy to go everywhere either by walking or by grab car. We will definitely stay here again next time. A lovely and comfortable budget stay in the heart of Penang”
We have throughly enjoyed our stay in Georgetown. Chulia Mansion is on a street that turns into a party at night yet somehow stays pretty chill, where you can still feel set back safely from the action. We enjoyed the comfy king size bed, the views from the roof, the mini fridge, the smiles, the helpfulness of the staff and the perfect location for walking. On the down side, someone had been smoking in the room before we got there, the pillows are too thick and lumpy (great for lounging but less so for sleeping) and the aircon is hard on the sinuses. We loved the fresh fruit at breakfast, the decent coffee and the water cooler in the hall. Overall, this is an excellent hotel for the price and I would definitely stay again. Upon becoming accustomed to Penang, this hotel is lovelier every time you enter. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff who make the heart of this place, it makes all the difference!

glad that we nailed down chulia mansion as we were filtering a few others. great & strategic location to nice food places & street foods, near enough to bars but not noisy thus we are able to sleep soundly. aircond, heater, shower etc works well. clean & spacious room. hairdryer is powerful. only downsides are (1) no fridge in our room & (2) shower foam & shampoo smells odd, so pls bring ur own. would recommend to others to stay here definitely!

Me and my husband were entertained by one of the staff named Taiga. He is very attentive in solving our problem related to the wrongly booked room type due to my carelessness. Such a gentlemen. Besides that, the room is definitely worth staying!

Chulia Mansion is located in the heart of the Georgetown and very easy to walk to all Georgetown attractions. Hotel itself is a bit old and probably needs a bit renovation done, however it is very clean and staff members are very friendly. The water station on each floor is definitely a plus for us. Overall a very nice stay.

Bigger room than what I was expecting based on the price I paid for. Slight problem on accessing my room because of the lockset problem but staff was there to quickly assist with the matter. Excellent service by the staff. Location wise, its near to a food street at night and the nightlife around the hotel here is buzzing. Excellent choice for location. Would 10/10 stay here again if planning to go to Penang again!

We have stayed at Chulia Mansion hotel every time we come to Georgetown. Amazing little hotel situated close to everything. The best part about staying at Chulia is all the extras that are included in the orice. Best breakfast, free icecream, and a complimentary glass of wine in the evening is fantastic. We also want to compliment the staff for addressing any needs that we required during our stay. They responded quickly and always had a big smile. Will always stay at Chulia when we return to Georgetown.

Wow location , clean and value for money”
Its one of the best hotel interms of location, cleaniness and much better then value for money. Lot of resto and bars around. Supermart is stone tjrow away. Lovelane (bar area) is 2mins walking distance. Free parking, good stafd and excellent service
