"This hotel had favorable reviews so I followed those before me and booked a room for my overnight trip for Silla tomb sightseeing. So glad I did. Everything about the stay was excellent including the usuals - location, cleanliness, staff, and price. The icing on the cake was the hotel 'sauna', included in the price of the room. In Korea, 'sauna' means a public-style bath - hot pools, cold pool, dry sauna and steam room. This sauna also has the guy to do a skin scrub and massage. The sauna facility was very clean, had all the options and was open from morning till 9:00 pm. (Sauna is closed on Thursdays apparently.). Will definitely stay here again on any return visit to Gyeongju."

"We had a pleasant stay at the Sono Hotel. My wife and I have stayed in plenty of Love motel's in Korea and this one was one of the more comfortable that we've stayed in. The lady working at reception was attentive and considerate and gave us a map of attractions to see in Gyeongju. We arrived by bus and the hotel is only a 15 minute walk from the bus station or a cheap 3 minute cab ride. It is also conveniently located within in walking distance (15~25 minutes) to some of the attractions such as the royal tombs or Cheomseongdae. It's an 8 minute walk to the downtown shopping area. It's also about a 45 minute walk to Anapji Pond (nice to see at night) though you can take a short cab ride. There wasn't much of a nightlife but if you are looking to go out ... Seonggeong-dong is about a 3 minute cab ride from the hotel. Gyeongju is a nice place to visit if you're looking to see a scenic and historical side of Korea; we also visited Gyeongju world which was a 35 minute cab ride, the water park was nice but the amusement park was a little rickety. "It was so close to Gyeongju train station and it was SUPER clean. It was so quiet and really close to the Daneungwon. But the wifi was too slow (or out of connection very often) and the description was not 100% correct. (In the description of the twin room, they said they have bathtub, but they didn’t) "
