"Traveling with a group of USA college students to tour development projects in Hubli-Dharwad area meant spending 8 days at the Presidents Hotel. The staff was incredible and friendly. There are two dining areas, one that all vegetarian and one that has a wide variety of Indian, Chinese and some "continental" foods. Free breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. Wifi was good which was critical for the students. Location is good and there is a nice park across the street but there is not much else you walk to in the area. The price through Agoda was excellent and I would definately recommend this hotel."

"A large hotel of 5 star standards. Situated in a quieter part of Hubli on the lake, away from the busy local streets, but near enough to walk to to enjoy the bustle of Indian life of you wanted. Impressive entrance foyer one and excellent prompt polite service. All very upmarket, with service in the restaurants at breakfast and dinner to match. Prices were quite a bit higher than normal Indian prices, which is to be expected in a hotel of this standard, but actually they had a buffet dinner at a very reasonable 595 rupees with a comprehensive selection of very good food. This was matched at the buffet breakfast with again a comprehensive range of Indian and Western food and good service although breakfast should be available from 7.00 am whereas most choices weren’t laid out before 7.15. Rooms as you would expect, lake view if you choose, with a lovely sunset on our evening there, spotlessly clean with all the facilities, room safe, refridgerator, good tv, a/c, bathroom toiletries etc although wifi bucked the trend by being chargeable whereas this is often free. Sparkling pool which unfortunately on a short visit and arriving late afternoon we were unable to try. A very good quality stopover choice. "

"The reviews of this property are all fake and unreliable. The property looks nothing like shown in the Agoda pics. The walls of the Executive suite were peeling, tiles we're broken, dirty loo. The room air conditioning wasn't working and the staff basically told us to stuff it cos they couldn't repair the AC and they couldn't give us an alternate room either. And because this was an Agoda booking, they told us to complain to Agoda. On their hand, Agoda didn't answer our calls either. So basically you are out on your own. Awful experience. We will return to this property for sure."
