Alsisar Haveli is a fantastic boutique hotel nestled in the old city of Jaipur. I travelled with my friend for a weekend in August and we were completely charmed by the quaint haveli. Perhaps it is one of the places where everything comes together – great service, brilliant hospitality and an ambience that is unmatchable. Being a vegetarian, food is always a tricky part for me. However, the Paneer Butter Masala was so delicious that I over-ate. It was a similar story with my friend who munched on Rajasthani chicken. One must also try Laal Maas and Jangali Maas of Alsisar Haveli. Kudos to Amar Singh ji for an amazing dining experience. Our room (no. 216) was big and beautifully furnished. It had windows on either side of the room and was simply beautiful. The hotel staff is very courteous. They kept us pampered by asking at regular intervals if anything is required. The ambience of Alsisar Haveli is unparallel. For all the time we were there, we didn’t step outside the hotel at all. Everything was provided to us in the hotel. It was a great way to unwind and relax. And at the same time experience true Rajput hospitality. Thank you Alsisar Haveli for one of the best holidays.

Wow, what a lovely hotel we were lucky enough to stay at! Extremely clean, lovely helpful staff, good food and best location in Jaipur right on MI Road.. walking distance or a short tuk tuk driver away! I have stayed at many hotels in Jaipur and this was definitely one of the best and will be returning here on my next trip :) Thank you to all the lovely staff for a great stay!

The hotel is situated in the heart of the Pink City, within striking distance of shops, eateries & major sight-seeing options. The approach isn't the greatest, but once within the hotel premises, it's all much better. A welcoming lobby, a cheerful restaurant, a cute patisserie/cafe & a bar/lounge greet you as you walk in. The receptionists were reasonably efficient, though always unsmiling. Our room on the 4th floor (Super Deluxe) was a bit of a disappointment. Though good sized, it was oddly shaped due to the structure of the hotel. There was absolutely no view, wallpaper was coming off at places, the AC stayed at a constant temperature irrespective of how you tried to manipulate it, & the bathroom door was positioned in a groove altogether too small for it. Since we were there only a night, none of this bothered us much, but the hotel would do well to look into these small issues. We didn't eat a the hotel but had a look at the onsite dining options, & they all seemed quite good. You would quite certainly be able to find better similarly priced hotels in Jaipur, but would be hard pressed to find one in a better location.

the best hotel that we stayed during our 11 days holiday in rajasthan, delhi and agra. umaid mahal was nothing like any other hotel in india that claimed their 3 stars rating despite of their lack of service and features. umaid mahal is indeed the real 3-star hotel !!! the room is big and very very clean. the interior of the rooms were mostly marble and nicely decorated. the bathroom was exceptionally well, equipped with clean shower, clean floor, hair dryer and hot water !!! they even have a swimming pool !! the location is very close to jaipur train station too. the wifi is working well though you need to ask the password in the reeption lobby. they will give you hourly access but i guess they will give you the new one for free if it's expired. definitely recommended !!!!

Visited this awesome property for the 4th time and they always up the standard of there service and product quality. The warmth we felt was over the top and the hotel team members made our stay unforgettable, as I will be leaving Jaipur forever so I picked this hotel for my final few nights and they treated me the way I was expecting or I must say it was more than my expectations. The food and beverage team did superb job to please our pallet and carried out our demands. Special thanks to the chef incharge at the morning breakfast he made the best stuffed paratha I ever had in my life and the service team went ahead and provided us with out of the buffet options, And yes the lime soda which I got on the last night was mind blowing, everyone should try that. The housekeeping is doing magic service it seems like that to me, coz every time when we leave our room (mostly in pathetic condition) we get the room ready in crisp condition when we get back.

The choices for hotels are vast in Jaipur. Since this was our first trip, with a bit trepidation, I initially was looking at the familiar 5-star international hotels. However, I knew to truly learn about a country, one has to experience it and to experience it means to spend most of your time outside the confines of your hotel room. With that logic firmly in place, I cross referenced travel guides like Travel Advisor, Lonely Planet, Fodor’s and Conde Naste Traveller. The verdict? I chose the Palace Diggi Hotel and secured my reservations through Agoda. Why? Aside from Oprah staying here, the reviews were consistently good, and the pictures showed a safe and green environment for my children. I selected the Courtyard Suite and was not disappointed. Room 406 is the best because it faces the morning sun and has a huge courtyard. Wilson is the first person you will meet when checking in. He is very helpful and made our first visit to India memorable. Thank You Wilson!

Umaid Haveli Kukas was a surprise package that bowled us over when we reached there. We were looking for an inexpensive (but not cheap) weekend getaway and as we searched online, we were impressed by the pics of the rooms (more on that in a bit). However, the pics looked a bit too suspiciously well done, till we landed there! The hotel is in Kukas, about 13kms away from Jaipur and 245kms from Gurgaon, a perfect 4-hour drive for us. We enjoyed the highway but still were a bit circumspect on how the hotel would turn out to be. We were wrong to doubt the place! The rooms were perfect. The view from our room was amazing and the big window made it memorable! Staff was very friendly, a smattering of men from Darjeeling, Nepal, and locals. We thought we had misplaced a mobile phone of ours as we arrived into the hotel and they went out of their way to help us find it (phone was in one of our bags, lol!). Very courteous service throughout our trip. What caught our eye, and stole our hearts, was the terrace pool. Simply stunning! Highly recommended. Food was decent, breakfast was sumptuous, but service was very slow. But then, who wants fast service on a holiday! One gripe, possibly the only one we thought of, was that pool rules were not being followed. So random guests in regular clothes would jump into the pool during our stay. Quite a pity considering how amazing the ambience of the terrace is. Aces in our book and highly recommended! Insider tip: Take the rooms on the higher floors (4th and above) and take the rooms facing the south-east where the view is unhindered.

During our visit to Jaipur, we chose to stay in this hotel, and we are glad that we chose this place. The staff were very courteous and professional in handling the different aspects of hospitality. Even small inconsequential glitches which occurs in daily operations were attended to promptly and very professionally. If I do plan to come back to visit Agra, this place will be my first choice. Only the travel desk needs to have a more professional and have a reasonable outlook when handling travel requests for the tourists, whereby the tourist doesn't get the feeling of getting ripped off.

Superb hotel, had issues with my travel coming from the UAE flights cancelled, the staff even then took care of my requests, cancelled what could have been done and processed for refunds. (Special mention to Mr. Ravi reservation manager and Mr. Devendra who attended our queries and handled it with sincereity) Since they were helpful decided to give them a try when i visited later in the week, as expected the hotel was clean well maintained and had a great welcome even though we came at the hotel at midnight. Staff such as Mukesh and the hotel Guard cum attendant (didnt remember to take his name) helped us throughout. At around 2 am in the morning my wife started throwing up and was suffering form food poison, the staff was quick to respond and assist me with a vehicle and a driver who drove us to a nearby hospital and got treatment on time (Driver Bhanwarsingh ji) was also very helpful in the middle of night. All of this without any extra charge or hesitation made a great deal of difference in our stay at that hotel for 1 night only. Owing which i extended stay for my father in law in the same hotel for another 2 nights as he couldnt communicate in hindi well and despite of the challenges the hotel staff again were accommodating enough Overall superb location (right in the center) brilliant and well done rooms, and to add to it superb staff! for me its a 5 star hotel at 3 star price.

I've stayed at a number of hotels in Jaipur and I must say Zone is one of my favourites! It may not carry a big brand name but I found my room at Zone almost equivalent to that at Hilton but at a lower price tag. The room layout was similar, and the décor modern and tasteful. Other than a slightly longer wait during check in, the rest of my stay was wonderful and I wished I had just come here sooner! Food was excellent! The breakfast buffet, although not a huge spread, was sufficient and had the right mix and variety. Presentation was nice too and there is a nice alfresco seating area. I ordered in-room dining twice and I really appreciated that both times, my meals were served piping hot, delicious and comforting at the same time. Reception staff were reasonably cordial and helpful enough by local standards. There's a small lap pool which looked very inviting, as well as a bar at the roof top which offered at least an unobstructed view if not a good one. I also liked the location of the hotel - Bani Park seems to be a better area with less noise and congestion. There are shops nearby including a Kanha outlet from which I was able to grab inexpensive snacks as souvenirs. Perhaps some small improvements to up the ante would be stronger wifi, more thorough housekeeping (I found a child's ball in my room, presumably from the previous guests), bedroom slippers, more comprehensive toiletries, but the room has everything else - ironing board, hairdryer etc. All in, thumbs up to Zone and this will definitely be my go-to hotel the next time I'm in Jaipur!

I used to travel to Jaipur as a kid with my father, some 20 years ago and stayed at Hotel Mansingh. This was when my father used to do business travel. I had the opportunity to travel this year to Jaipur with my family and I chose to stay at the same hotel, to relive the memories and I was pleasantly surprised to see that nothing has changed and Hotel Mansingh is still as amazing as it used to be before. The hotel decor etc were well maintained. The rooms were tastefully done, well maintained and upgraded . Finding the Hotel Mansingh is confusing as there is Hotel Mansingh Towers which is right in front of Hotel Mansingh . The rooms were great. The service was good. a lot of old world charm in some ways which made it more attractive for me. The check in process was ok- some issues with the check in staff. Breakfast- not that great. can avoid. Id prefer to eat out. Id love to come back and stay again. Price could be more competetive.

Right near to Jaipur train station (the trains can be heard at times but aren't too much of a disturbance) the hotel is in a good location walking distance to MI road. Hotel is gorgeous throughout- very modern, extremely clean (a rarity in India unfortunately) and the staff are helpful. Rooms have satellite TV and bathrooms with showers. The pool and gym are good, if a bit small, and the pool tends to be shady for much of the day. Breakfast is good, a mix of continental and Indian. Wifi is very expensive though, 100Rs an hour, as is laundry. Enjoyed our stay here very much, as we have been backpacking and needed a treat!

There are 3 parts 1. Property : Excellent. Lovely surroundings, nice pool. Big ground to play or walk. Over construction was also good quality. Enjoyed morning walks. It was very relaxing. 2. Room amenities : would give 3/5. When I booked hotel, I clearly mentioned 2 people. However amenities kept inside the room were only meant for 1 person. Also I had booked 2 rooms and only 1 room was given newspaper in the morning. 3. Service : would rate 2/5. Bad experience one after another. On the day I checked-in, I was having terrible headache. Asked for medicine. I got headache medicine after 2 hours and after making about 5 requests. When on lunch table, didn't get bread until all other servings were cold. during breakfast, whenever we asked for something, waiter forgot to bring and we had to give multiple reminders. Really disappointed with service.

The hotel is situated away from the heart of the city in a residential area so surroundings are quiet without too much hustle bustle and that means public transport can be hard to find. Not too many cabs/auto rickshaw drivers are aware of the hotel and they can overcharge if you do not have the distance/location with you. Would recommend pre-paid cab/auto. I am a very satisfied patron of Sarovar properties and wanted to give its Jaipur property a chance...and I was not disappointed. The check-in process was a breeze with welcome drink. The room was spacious and nice. Bedsheets and the pillows were clean. Bathroom was also clean although the lights were dim for my liking. Breakfast was good with enough varieties (I think it also depends on the profile of the customers staying at that time) and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Good job!!! Kanha restaurent nearby serves delicious food if you want to try something else from the hotel food.

It was an excellent stay and memorable just because of the ambiance and the curtsy of the staff. It is in very silent surroundings, very clean and value for money. Warm welcome, quick settlement at departure. This is a 3 Star Property which has the ambiance of a 5 Star Property without a Swimming pool. We enjoyed it on the whole. We will definitely come back here again and also advise others to choose this place while at Jaipur.

We stayed at Libra for three nights in December 2018. Location is good and at main Sikar road, easliy approachable, away from crowded locality. Rooms are good, clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are not spacious but clean with new fittings. Ola and auto available... Ola prime car charge upto Rs 120 from railway station to Libra hotel and upto Rs 220 from hotel to Amer fort so not too far.. Location also have 3-4 other 4-star category properties.

On main road traffic noice is irritating in the front but back lawn rooms are quiet. Breakfast is fresh and ideal for a nice start of day. The rooftop restaurant could use portable fireplaces or heaters to make it cozy & comfortable in the evenings. Local folk singers & performers could add to the Jaipur feel & ambiance instead of Bollywood songs on the big screen. Overall impressive for the prices.

Me and my better half were on tour to India . We visited jaipur, jaisalmer, jodhpur, udaipur ,Agra, Delhi.We stayed in many hotels and we found sarang palace to be the best in all hotels. Beautiful hotel with superb staff . always smiling and courteous. Rooms were very clean and large and specially bathrooms. Food was great and had lot of variety . All the markets are very near by and sightsee monuments are also very near by. Rooftop was amazing with fantastic view . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the whole credit goes to entire staff who made us feel at home and we would definitely recommend it to all my friends and family.
