Nanjing hotels & accommodations

JinLing is old name of Nanning city so this hotel represents Nanjing and first t star hotel in Nanjing city. Location is at center of city and cross sectio of 2 subways(number 1 and 2) so Hotel is connected with subway. u can go signseeing conveniently. Workers are very friend and breakfast is perfect hotel that I been to. Swimming pool also nice and at new bulding. ...

I had a very good 😊 stay in Shangri-La Hotel location is near the (Xinmofanmalu) Metro line 1 by walk 2-3 minutes room was good and I very enjoyed at the Executive lounge happy hour from 5.30pm to 7.30pm and staff are very friendly and most of their staff can speak English very well for my next holiday in Nanjing I will coming back to Shangri-La Hotel 😇

I arrived in Nanjing from Beijing late close to midnight and had booked the hotel online with Agoda. I didnt know exactly where it was but was surprised to find it just a short walking distance from the airport exit still on airport property. The reception area is very big and yes this hotel is a very modern experience so expect the price of things to be higher than no...

The best thing about the Metropark is the location: next to the grand Nanjing Museum; a stroll to the walls to the east, the Ming ruins to the West, a fun neighborhood for street food 1 km south. The room was comfortable (did not purchase breakfast or eat in hotel). I have a weakness for the Chinese marble palaces built in the 1990s, of which this is one. Sweep of th...

We've chosen this hotel just because most of the simple hotels in nanjing dont accept foreigners. What I can say about our stay?: Comfortable room, Fast internet, Big beds... However, the location is far from everything. There are no restos nearby.... you still have to get a taxi and go to Wanda Plaza to get your food. he bfast buffet is also just ok, though i can say ...

The hotel was awesome. The room was big and spacious, clean and the hotel shares building with a mall, so it's easy to do any of your shopping, its located close to several interesting sights aswell. the room came with a kitchen (not equipped), so for longer stays it would be perfect. I will admit that it is closer to a kind of an apartment then a hotel, lacking perh...

thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this brand new hotel. spacious rooms that are very nicely furnished with large bathroom. three good restaurants where our favourite what the east west grill. a good place to rest and hang out between sightseeing in nanjing. when you checkout, make sure you do it in time in case of air/train transport, since this hotel is a few minutest...

It is close from the factory that i visit, so I always use this hotel. Not right in the middle of the city, it was better for me to travel to airport and the offices in the industrial area. Best thing was the free wireless, high speed connection from my room. So convenient for work, trip planning and entertainment. Although sometimes they slowly understand my request...

I've stayed in quite a few Western-owned five-star hotels in China, so I have an idea what to expect, and the Xinhua Media GDH falls far short of what it bills itself as. First of all, I should say that the service is really good. For instance, when we requested replacement towels, they were there in two minutes. But beyond that... everything looked nice, but was shodd...

This hotel is very good value for money. The rooms are large. The staff were helpful. The breakfast selection is enormous and the food very good. We were able to check out late with no cost involved. The location is excellent as there is a direct connection to the metro via the car park. Recommend going to Deji shopping mall ( one stop on the metro-Xin jialou -) 7th fl...

Very nice hotel 4 1/2 star, centrally well located. 8 mins walk to the Xinjiekou Metro Station and to Deji Plaza which is a new shopping malls with all the international brands and locals ones too. Quite a few good restaurants eg Impressions, Les Fleurs de Papaye (Vietnamese). Lots of shops around the area which is very modern. A few stops by Metro to Fuzi Miao (Conf...

Lovely complex beautifully kept. Tasteful decoration with nostalgic little items which would take you back to the 30's and 40's. Staff are very warm and welcoming. one of the most characteristic resorts. There is a nice charming and relaxing atmosphere within the hotel complex which shelters guest from the crazy world outside. The little exhibitions also enhances the r...

Our stay at this hotel was very good once we had arrived there. When we booked it, we did so specifically because it was described as being 'Inside the Lukou International Airport Eastern Airlines Jiangsu, Nanjing China', which we took to mean that the hotel was located within the terminal area. Unfortunately, the hotel is not inside the terminal, but is at least 1km a...

Especially, the warm service from Mr. Shi and Lee who did a great service to us when we checked out on May 26th in a rainy and bad weather. Really good service and professional attitude. Miss Chen (陳曉嬌) a really patient and professional employee who provides us the best Gym guide

We really enjoyed our stay here. The area is great with lots of eating and shopping areas within walking distance and the closest subway stop is just a minute or two away. The staff didn't speak English, but they were always friendly and patient and did their best to communicate with us. Daily room cleanings and towel changes were much appreciated. For the price, I can...

This hotel is not a member of any major hotel lines but trying to portraits itself as the “Seven Star” hotel of China and a hotel that “you must go to at least once in a lifetime.” Featured famous architect’s design and surrounded by Chinese culture infused interior design, this hotel also wants to imply that they once served Taiwan’s Chiang family, therefore, guests m...

Stayed here for Nanjing Marathon 2017 as it was pretty close to the start line. 5 mins walk from subway/MRT. 5 mins walk to Wanda shopping centre which has quite a few eateries. All in, above average amenities. However, will need about 30 mins to travel to main shopping area in Xinjiekou. However, was a little disappointed with the in-room facilities. Safe wasn't work...

It is a standard Sheraton 4+ star hotel with all the luxury I could want; excellent hotel in excellent shape. I have stayed here several times. Only quibble is that the hotel does not seem to offer "breakfast included" rates. And the cost of breakfast is huge: 150 RMB or more. That's a shame, as the buffet breakfasts are excellent. The separately-operated little shop ...

Only stayed on night en route to another city. I think I may have been upgraded as room was large, well appointed and of 5-Star quality. If so, thanks to the staff, they were friendly on arrival and helpful on my early departure. I rated location as 3 as I would not go there if visiting Nanjing (too far from city) but it was closer to the airport and that suited me on ...

Good all-purpose hotel for visitor to Nanjing. Historic hotel, designed by a top architect and opened a year before the Japanese invaded. Low-rise buildings in a garden just offf a major intersection. Comfortable. Prompt and friendly service. Nice Chinese and Western restaurants on the grounds, in a neighborhood with lots of nice places to eat, pleasant rather than fan...
Cheap places to stay in Nanjing

There was hair dryer in the bathroom for four beds dorminatory. I've comfortable sleep where room is silent. The staff is helpful to provide me information I requested. There was books on the bookshelf in the comfort dining area, next to the reception counter. The hostel location is next to a mango drink stall. I dislike the smell from the bathroom, hope it can be mo...

I booked at this hotel thinking I had secured a place to stay. But when I arrived they rejected me. They didn't even speak English. I FOUND MYSELF IN THE STREET AT 12AM BECAUSE AN AGODA.COM MISTAKE. This hotel is in a dark street, it has a awful reception area. Honestly I've got scared when I arrived there. BE AWARE: THIS IS A CHAIN OF HOTELS AN ALL ARE WRONGLY LISTEST...

The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet corner of city centre, 5-minute walk to the Changfujie metro station on Line 3 and 10-minute walk to the busy Xinjiekou. Just a stone's throw to the Jiangnan Theatre and Zijin Theatre (both theatres are for Chinese opera shows). But the room condition is just so-so and could be brighter and cleaner even to the eye. Good deal...

I stayed in a room with a king bed. The room was not too big, but it was just me so it was fine. The few staff that I dealt with did not speak any English, but if you know a little Chinese you will be ok. The hotel is very close to Hunan Lu which has a lot of restaurants and shopping. It is about a 15 minute walk or so to the nearest metro station. It is very difficult...

The location suited us as it was close the metro station. Language is an issue as the staff can hardly communicate in english but they are very humble people. There are many eating joints in the vicinity including McDonald's and Pizza Hut. along with some small shopping malls.

Good for business travelers. Convenient location, 10 minutes drive to train station, food outlets are available nearby. Clean and comfortable rooms but receptionist was a bit grouchy. She was not patient to answer a call from a guest who asked for direction. Stuffs not fluent in English. Overall, not a bad hotel.

This hotel was located off metro line one with several good resteraunts on the block. The room was fairly large and staff did their best to assist us even though we did not speak Chinese. My only complaint was that they had environmental friendly signs up but they did not Follow them. We did not want new towels and sheets but they changes them anyway. Such a waste....

stayed there for three nights and overall i enjoyed it very much. hotel was over my expectations, staff was friendly, room was spacious while not being too expensive. the only negative aspect is that the subway is a 15 minute walk away from the hotel. if i am ever to go to nanjing again i would have no doubt in staying at greentree inn yinqiao market hotel.

It is standard 3-star business class hotel, often used by Chinese tour groups. It is often full. I find it a mid-level excellent place to stay when I am not looking for 4-star luxury. Clean room, comfortable bed. Useless breakfast (for a Westerner). Metro is right across the street, and it is a 5-block walk to main business area. Quiet hotel.

Very disappointed. Family room is small and not enough space to accommodate three persons. Room lacks table or cabinet to place stuffs. Only one chair in the family room. Over all, very little facilities in the room to serve the purpose of comfort stay.

Arrived late and was shocked at the dark back alley entrance. Staff did not speak any English. Hotel is situated in residential area about 1 mile from nearest subway station. Walk to and from is not easy. Breakfast was inexpensive and varied. Showers need to be soaked in bleach as grout was moldy.

The room itself wasn't bad. Clean, reasonable bathroom, basic amenities. I was a little surprised to find that they charged for the bottles of water they left in the room (I've stayed at much cheaper hotels where those bottles of water are free). The real downside of this hotel is the gross hallways. I suppose they were in the process of renovating, so I have to gi...

Stay can be more comfortable if you add 1. Laundry facilities 2.Facilities for Ironing of clothes 3. Restaurent attached to the hotel and 4. Cleaning the outer surroundings like steps, lift etc. They are dusty. Stay was comfortable but few lacking things make the stay little uncomfortable. Improvements needed are

Nanjing HuiHang is a great place to stay if you don't need much. There is a shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the airport. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The wifi in the room is a bit slow, but at least there is free wifi in the rooms (certain websites/apps are blocked in China, so be prepared for that experi...
4-star hotels in Nanjing

The location is way out in a wasteland of unoccupied new buildings but there's a cute little hotel shuttle tram that will drop you near the Yuantong subway station which is a junction for No 1 and No 2 lines. It's only one stop from the BenQ International Medical Centre, the reason for my overnight stay in Nanjing. There's nowhere to eat for miles around except at th...

The fact that it is RIGHT BY the metro made it so easy to get around the city. Staff was very helpful and the room was spotless. Being city center, the price was very good as well. I'd totally stay here again. Shame I never had the time to play pingpong while there.

The hotel was a bit tricky to find and a bit inconveniently located making any going out a bit of an extra hassle. and there the list of complaints stop. the hotel was clean the room was incredible same with the bed, the hotel also have a superb little garden which if you enjoy nature will give you the most wonderful view, in the few interactions I had with the staff t...

Well, this hotel is probably a value for money but by all means, do not stay in the old part of the hotel (standard rooms). They are old, outdated and not really well maintained. I did not have a fridge when I checked in. No bottle opener in the room, and I've seen 3 rooms (5 star hotel ?!) Safe did not work and after number of attempts I just gave up. New building is ...

They took my credit card to take a deposit (1000 yuan) but didn't give me a receipt for the refund of this. They told me nothing about this in advance. Their manner was rude in doing this, in addition to not giving me a receipt. For the refund, I asked "Can I have the refund in cash?" The woman didn't even look at me and just said "This is credit." I said, "I hear you;...

It was good. Although far from commercial places, hotel has many amenities that you can just stay and enjoy the hotel. Indoor pool was nice, staff were friendly, they have a wide variety of choices for breakfast, they have HBO in English. Room was huge and comfortable.

we arrived by train. figured out the metro. short trip to downtown and about a 15 minute walk from metro to hotel. staff were very friendly and helpful. walking distance to the lake. long walk to massacre museum. we really enjoyed the sights and people of nanjing. would stay at this hotel again.

Easily the dirtiest hotel I stayed in. The cleaning lady avoided the dirtiest part of the hotel which is the bathroom! On my first day of visit, the table was covered with dust. This is definitely not acceptable. Very disappointed with my choice as this hotel is not cheap and value for money is low. The hotel is not exactly new but reasonably well-maintained. The on...

Excellent. We stayed in 3 different hotels in Nanjing. Two 5 stars and one this "Eastern Pearl". We recommend this for service, especially if the Assistant Manager is around. This person knows how to "WOW" customers expectations. For the price if you get 5 star service here, no one should complaint.

The hotel is very centrally located and the price was very attractive, everything seems very good except perhaps the air conditioning, the room temperature could not easily be adjusted that which may be due to the relatively old air conditioning machine.

A new hotel in a very convenient location, good quality rooms and great hotel staff. Right across the road from a subway station which connects easily to the Nanjing Railway Station and other main attractions of Nanjing. The subway also gets you to the airport after going through many stops. A good breakfast spread and a simple afternoon tea is included in most room ra...

It was raining for a few days. The main entrance is facing a muddy messy construction site. I was lucky that i found the backdoor. Long walk to subway station. Not convenient to get a cab which is needed basically for anywhere u go. The delicacy street downstairs is famous but a huge disappointment.

There a several interesting spots to visit, such as the Qinhuai River, Zhonghua Gate, the Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum.
Nanjing is a nice place to visit if you like history and to understand the evolution of education in China.
Chinese people in Nanjing are friendly, many tourist attractions, must visit purple Mountain and Nanjing massacre memorial hall.
This trip I went to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and it can spend half day there without fees! Great please for visitors to go!
It is full of historial sites and stories to tell. However, it is difficult to get a taxis sometimes.
Nanjing is located in south east of China. Nanjing is one of historical city of Chian. Ming dynasty and Oh dynasty's capital was Nanjing so In nanjing there are many historical ruins - castle wall and Ming gugung, Ming xiaoling etc.
Although there are some worthwhile sights and a reliable subway system, I found the city hard to navigate.
Nanjing was an old capital city of China. So great old building are available in Nanjing. Recommended to go to Museums in Nanjing which is big and never end.
Beautiful place which have a lot of historical places to visit. There is couple of interesting Shopping area to shop around and the best of all the people in Nanjing is very friendly.
Nanjing is a quiet city. If you are interested in history, Nanjing is very attractive place for you.
The Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall is worth a visit for those interested as it has an exhibit hall that records real-life stories of the World War II in Nanjing.
Nanjing experienced a lot of changes in the past 10 years. A lot of tall buildings stood out in the city line, yet the historical sites were preserved well.
Modern transportation system (Metro) puts all main attractions within reach. Purple Mountain area best accessible by walking from Metro stations nearby -- however, tourist buses were sighted.
Very interesting city with a lot of things to do especially if you would like to learn about Chinese culture and history.
Nanjing is a place with many beautiful sight-seeing places. Shopping malls and streets gives you the opportunity to buy something home and local food was good.
Very representative of China. One would be able to find ancient China, recent China and future China in Nanjing.
in overall, the local people wasnt that bad. just that not all of them are able to understand english.
Close to Shanghai, Nanjing is an affordable metropol in Jiangsu province. You can enjoy a large variety of delicious food and hit the night in the 1912 district (this one is not that cheap though).
Nanjing was an ancient capital. Visit the Presidential Palace, Zhongshan Ling, Confucious Temple, Jiming Temple and walled city nearby and Zhonghua Gate
Didn't really like Nanjing, after such nice cities like Shanghai and Suzhou, Nanjing didn't seem very friendly, and seemed dirty.
Nanjing is a large city easy to get to from Shanghai. It is modern but has a great history. The lake in the north of the city is a great way to spend a day on a warm day.
Nanjing, like most large cities in China is very clean, plenty of attractions, wide range of food including western food.
This is beautiful city which still keeps ancient things such as temple, museum, walls. It is not only traditional city but also developing model city.
I live in this city, and have done for over 6 years. It's more Chinese than Shanghai, which I think is the same as any such city around the world.
Go to the mountains if you need real peace and quiet. For the adventurous nocturnal animal, CBD with the city walls is best.
Interesting blend of historical and modern life. A city that has been through so much and bears so much testimony to human ill-doings through the dark days of man, but yet at the same time spotting pockets of modernity in the city.
i hope to come back soon to this beautiful city that has so much history, i recommand it to everyone
Nanjing is a very historical city. Discover the city as it is. One of the friendliest city. People are nice and helpful.
It is a lovely city with many trees. many ,many history and museum to see. I will go back again for sure.
I really enjoy the city . there are many many museum full of history. don't miss the memorial in the park.
