"This is a great hotel for the price. It's just on the edge of the shopping and restaurant area, which makes it a little quieter than the other hotel I stayed in when this one was fully booked. I would highly recommend this hotel within the 3 star bracket of hotels in the Shinsaibashi area. It's right next to the subway line that takes you to Osaka Castle and one stop from the line that runs to Osaka/Umeda station too. This would be my first choice hotel in Osaka next time I go there."

"My travel mission in Central Osaka was to simply experience Japan’s kitchen while entertaining my shopping habits. Cargo had made my trip more comfortable and relaxed. After getting good sleep in my private mini room at Cargo, I was able to get ready in its fully equipped washroom and shower facilities without any hassle. Cargo’s house-keeping services will provide fresh personal amenity set including a pyjama set, everyday!; and were also able to consistently maintained the whole place clean. Going back to Cargo for these facilities and services after a long day is truly a stress-reliever. What got Cargo to me was the flexibility of privately packing-unpacking my things in a mini room with purse-friendly rates, and it’s strategic location to either enjoy the shopping street of Shinsaibashi-Dotonbori-Namba area (Chou-ku) and to enjoy the less hectic area of Shinsaibashi that offers strings of small shops, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, supermarkets - all within the vicinity of train stations. Thank you to everyone at Cargo for making my trip to Osaka, a better and restful experience!"

"An amazing hostel in Osaka that's worth every penny! Each bunk comes with a TV that is equipped with Japanese television shows which I thought was super cool, and the bed itself is extremely comfortable to sleep in. I absolutely loved the traditional onsen-style showers, and I truly enjoyed coming back to the hostel after a long day to just wind down. The location is as convenient and centrally located as can be (it's literally in Dotonbori) and not to mention, there's a Seven-11 right next to the hostel which makes everything better. I highly recommend you stay at this hostel if you're visiting Osaka!"

"Space in Japan is limited. We've upgraded to a regular double room throughout our trip to have some more walking space considering our luggage and this was the only APA hotel that actually gave us a slightly larger room. It was also the cleanest - at the same time, it is also the newest out of all the APA hotels we stayed at. Location-wise, it is two stops from the main Umeda station where all the trains are available including the JR. However, it is in the middle of all the markets, foods, bars, and everyday activities. It's a few blocks away from Dontonbori, the Kuromon Ichiba Market, Shinsaibashisuji shopping street, animate osaka nipponbashi, and the train station which is a large mall itself. It's also two blocks from a Don Quijote. Staff were also extremely nice and helpful during our stay. When it came to directions, taxi services, housekeeping, etc. Highly recommend this APA hotel for the cleanliness, the accommodations, and the location, location, location. "

"For a solo traveler with limited budget, this hotel is a nice stay. The room is small, which is quite common for hotels in Japan but the best thing is this hotel's strategic venue. It is just minutes away from the Osaka Station, the Dotonbori market and few subway stops from all other interesting places in Osaka. Another best thing is the hotel's Vietnamese restaurant on the 30th floor. It will give you the opportunity to dine up in the sky and you can observe the city's skyline. The only bad thing is that being Japanese they are really strict with time. There is no way you can do an early check in. But at least they will allow you to place your luggage at the lobby. Overall, nice affordable place to stay in Osaka."
