Port Dickson hotels & places to stay

Avillion is without a doubt one of the top class hotels in Port Dickson. It has a great and well maintained private beach, great staff to support, excellent facilities, and some great housekeeping. When we entered the lobby we saw a picture frame saying that it was one of the top luxury boutique hotels in the world, so that raised our expectations. We were booked into a water challet but i had called the hotel a few hours prior to arrival and requested for a room furthest into the sea. Then they stated that it's only possible in premium challets which i had not booked for. I said they can just give me the best in plain water challet category of rooms. When we checked in the front desk person said that they have upgraded me to a premium water challet because i had asked for a room furthest into the water. And the room was great. We needed housekeeping on some of the electrical fitings which was the only hiccup we faced, but it was resolved quickly and efficiently. Overall great staff, great service and highly recommended. Infact, you should go to Port Dickson to just experience Avillion - it has a history of its own and is a tourist spot in itself.

The Thistle is one of the nicest resort hotel in Port Dickson. With a very large park all around and nice facilities included a SPA and sport training park. Nice room with cozy and elegant decor that will inspire an home-feeling. Nice service too. Location is away from town so you need a transportation. CONS: The beach is not quite nice, but that's the nature of most beaches in Port Dickson. The toilet takes forever to refill after flushing and it's quite noisy.

Six blocks of about ten storeys. Each room is an apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchenette ( empty except for jug and some cups), dining area and lounge. Very spacious even though showing age. Plenty of room to relax and a very good swimming pool. If you have flexibility suggest a Monday to Friday stay as starting Friday night a huge influx of weekenders from KL. Families occupy the apartments and seem to bring their own cooking gear and food. Monday to Friday very quiet and relaxing in contrast. Breakfast was ok. Travel to port Dickson for supplies is a must. About ten to twenty ringgits. Nearby hotels have reasonable food. Port Dickson is not at all memorable. Taxis leave port dickson from a central rank. Rare to see a taxi cruising.

Seem that is so hard to book hotel in Port Dickson if it is a last minute trip because PD is always full with people during the weekends. Finally I got a chance to stay in this hotel with my wife a 12+ son. The check in time was very quick, good staff, the doorman was so kind and helpful, the room service also quick response, the nasi goreng ramas and mee goreng was very delicious. The room was spacious too and very clean except the pillows was not enough because they provide us with 3 pillows only. But this hotel has a very beautiful view when sunset and the facilities was also fascinating.

One of the best stay we had in Port Dickson to date. Highly recommended for couples! From reading a previous review, decided to book the deluxe suite for a stay with my family. We stayed there at 1/10/11. Facilities were great. It was a smooth drive from Kuala Lumpur to Port Dickson following the GPS. I had a wonderful time with my family. Spacious room and the extra of having the private pool are just wonderful. The general pool is ok. Just before reaching the resort, we passed by rows of local shops and a small building that houses a supermarket and food outlets. I loved the privacy and the fact that we can swim any time we like, no restrictions at all. Wi-fi access in the room is kinda weak and slow but does serve its purpose as long as one has the patience. YET, the main point is a small and cosy swimming pool at each room! Check in was smooth. The rooms were really big and the layout, well planned. The breakfast spread was impressive and good. Allowing swim at ALL time of the day! We were told that we should take a buggy to the villa so we waited outside the lobby. There are very friendly and courteous employees as well. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Good for drinking wine and eating snacks while swimming! However, found that there was no queue system and you just have to catch the attention of the buggy driver if you see one coming along. Duyung restaurant should serve a better fare, there's plenty of room for improvement! This is highly recommended place to stay in Port Dickson. A microwave in the private kitchen! Upon first stepping into the room, was wowed by the spaciousness with 2 king size beds and especially the private swimming pool. I wish the hotel would provide floor mats, as the floor gets wet and slippery when we get out of the pool. We will definitely return again soon. Allowing 'warm' food at all times! My family had a superb time playing in the pool. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, this is it.

A good option to stay in Port Dickson as the hotel is Syariah compliant - meaning its family friendly & quiet (there is a wall with a waterfall separating the male and female swimming pools). Rooms are clean and big enough for two but they don't provide enough soaps/toiletries etc (I am sure you can ask for more). Breakfast had plenty of options (mostly Malay food though) but some of the bread was stale and the fruit not ripe - not sure why they still left it out (I also thought the Nestea from the coffee/tea machine had a funny taste like the milk was bad). Finally, they leave a newspaper on your door in the morning...

I was attracted by the swimming pool and the location in Port Dickson, thus steered my decision to stay at Corus Paradise Resort. To my delight, the room is with two queen sized beds instead of the usual twin singles. It was a brief getaway stay for my family and the swimming pool was where we spent most of the time. If it was longer, we would be occupied at the pool/billiards table and games room. The breakfast has a good spread of food, but it could be extended to have more variety especially desserts. Parking space is a problem and it should be addressed ASAP as it involves safety. There are a lot of vehicles parked along the main road in front of the resort, on both near and across the road. I was taken aback by the check-in time which is at 3.00 pm instead of the usual 2.00 pm. However, I was delighted that my request through agoda.com for a room on the lower floor was entertained, and it was next to the swimming pool, which tops the overall experience.

Check in was slow.We came at 4pm but still have to wait for room, took almost an hour for it to be ready. The room is clean although furniture are old. Too bad carpet smells damp. This hotel need to be teared down and rebuilt again because the location is no doubt among the best in Port Dickson. The view from balcony was super exciting! Pool was great. My baby had a great time but the toilet was dirty.

Location- very easy to find. Just opposite Port Dickson beach. Walking distance to KFC and other food stalls/ restaurants Staffers- friendly and helpful. 5 stars Room (4 people)- room is spacious and clean, the bathroom/toilet is very small, obese people will have difficulties to shower, but for normal/average size people, just nice. Aircond, TV and hot shower are in good conditions. Swimming Pool- small but just nice. At least they have pool 😊 Breakfast- The best. Variety of food and taste delicious. Overall, I am really happy and satisfied with Hotel Seri Malaysia PD.

Located at the Port Dickson Waterfront area which has TF Value Mart, McDonalds, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Domino's Pizza & Pak Hai Lam Kopitiam within walking distance. We had a room(grand family suite) with seaview, spacious room & balcony, free wifi. Nearest parking is at the roadside opposite of the hotel, could be hard to look for parking if you back to hotel late at the Saturday night. Hotel is located at the 2nd floor with only staircase to access(no lift), so carrying a heavy luggage might be a problem.

my family really enjoyed staying here. The apartment is huge and the rooms is comfort. It is also clean. Just there is no microwave. However, the nearest beach took us to walked for 10 minutes before reached at the clean area. The best part, we enjoyed our banana boat ride very much. The choice of food for breakfast is limited but nice. Others, everything is fine....recommended for family short trip to port dickson

This is one hotel I would recommend out to anybody visiting Port Dickson. It is kind of attached to the CORAS resorts and while some parts of it is still undergoing some renovation, we had very pleasant rooms. My friends and I stayed in the 1 bedroom suite which came with a neat and cosy living room, complete with a mini pantry and dining table. But what we liked the best was the balcony with its amazing view of the beach. Car park alone is usually full and could be a problem at times.

I went there with my parents and siblings. Although it is located in lukut instead of port Dickson, it only takes about 10-15 mins drive to port Dickson beach. After the tiring day spent at the beach, we went to the hotel to rest. We did not spent much time resting during the day, as there is quite many facilities for us to explore. There are gym facilities, swimming pool (not big but quite fun swimming with the kids). Too bad the spa and massage facilitites are not ready yet, otherwise, it will be perfect. However, the air conditioner is leaking water when we woke up in the next morning.

Previously I had booked standard room from Agoda. Upon arrival for check in, we saw the ad for the king superior room with personal Jacuzzi. We upgraded from the standard to the superior king. The Jacuzzi is perfect for us family with young children. It was very pleasant and value for money. The staff were great and the breakfast was ok. However, kindly improve the hot water for shower and Jacuzzi otherwise it will be a perfect stay for us. Definitely will be coming back for next trip to Port Dickson.

Not just cheap, but also huge space for a family or a big family to stay. Affordable and complete with furniture and appliances. Secured place for parking and private. Easy access to nearby grocery store and any other must place to visit. Has a bay view but cannot go swimming in the beach which is not suitable. Have to go to other place to swim at the beach. But have a swimming pool which is nice. Next time I will book for pent house apartment here.

Would consider this hotel to be the best in its class at Port Dickson. Only suggestion is to increase the number of clothes hangers in the room. Otherwise, the basic amenities are quite complete. Walking distance to a 7-11 convenience store. Staff are friendly with smooth check in and check out. Found the aircon vent in my room to be dirty during check in. Informed the reception staff and he attended to it personally and promptly. The hotel is located further away from the beaches, and you will need transportation there.

We were travelling on motorcycles and were coming in from Thailand, therefore we arrived past 1am at the resort to check-in. This would be my fourth visit at the hotel. I always choose to stay at the Eagle Ranch in Port Dickson due to secure parking, good rooms and breakfast. The hotel reception was fantastically efficient and also very accommodating. The themed rooms are somewhat dated and pretty basic but the room is clean and has a good shower. Thank you for making our pit-stop for the night a restful one! We will be back!

pros: - near teluk kemang beach -beside 7eleven -beside dobi - perfect restaurant at mahsyur restaurant (cheap) - clean room but bed so sandy - beside bank muamalat -.so many petrol pum nearby cons: - got 3 staff, one of it i believed she is senior so her attitude so bitchy with sour face. even i asked bout nearest beach she is refused to answer - although paid fully but still hv to place deposit which is they should inform earlier

Very convienience if you're travelling with own transport and villa was a superb stay for my family. My kids love the pool and could say most of our time spending was swimming in the pool as our room was just fews step away from it. Shopping wise is not much variety and most important you need to find best place to eat and make your time more occupied there for your stay. Google will help you alot.

Initially I wasn't expecting much from Waterfront Boutique Hotel, but I was really surprised when i reached the place and was very pleased after my stay. Here's why: It is strategically located near the town centre and the Port Dickson Bus Terminal, thus walking to the hotel was not a problem at all. The hotel itself was decorated in beautiful designs and the ambient was soothing and welcoming, giving a tinge of a luxurious feel. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient, with a good command of language. The room was pretty clean, though there were some minor details such as ants and toilet seat not cleaned properly, but overall it was very comfortable with a warm cozy feel to it. The bathroom/toilet was surprisingly pretty spacious and well designed. Once you step out of the hotel, there is a nice view of the sea to the right with paved pathways already set and you could go down into the water too. All around the area are many eateries and shops to choose from, so dining and shopping are a breeze. All in all, my stay at Waterfront Boutique Hotel was a very pleasant and delightful one. I certainly would recommend this place given all its features and price and hope to return there next time i visit Port Dickson.
