Very good hotel with great location. It will be fine for business travellers & for holidays also. In 2 min one can reach a very nice park & one can have a walk along the riverside. There's a roof which offers to admire fantastic views. Heated pool & jaccuzzi. Breakfast was pretty good, but not the best one. I would stay this hotel again & would ecommend it to my friends.

overall a solid hilton hotel. everything is up to standard and what you expect for a 4 star hilton hotel. breakfast good except the lack of real bacon(same thing all over egypt, pork a bit of a no no). as a swede i especially enjoyed the smoked salmon which was really good. staff really nice and good as you would expect, the only nice people i met in whole of egypt. the hotel is good in all areas, except maybe a quite noisy aircondition in the room. get room with nile view, really nice. alot of guards all over zamalek island, feels very safe.

I had booked a sea view room through agoda but when i reached the hotel, they told me it is not sea view and they gave me a side view room.. i was so disapointed that i don't get what i've booked.. i came from Cairo to spend only one night in a good hotel with a sea view.. that was my only desire..who should compensate this?? The hotel or your website??? And by the way the sea view room is more expensive than the other and i had paid the value of the sea view one..

Connection to Citystar Mall thru the basement. Check-in to one bedroom apartment, which can accommodate 4 adults. The apartment is big, provide comfortable bed but improvement required on the sofa bed. Complete cooking utensils provided in the apartment. Free laundry in the basement is very helpful. Breakfast is just ordinary but is sufficient and can bring the breakfast to your apartment. Transportation thru Uber but pick up n drop off is always outside the hotel gate. To airport ,Uber fare about 120-180 Egypt pounds. To Cairo festival mall about 100 Egypt pound.

among the few hotels in 6th of october, novotel is relatively inexpensive yet it location is superior in comparison. 15 min walk to mall of arabia & 10 min away from local shops if you want a true egyptian buying experience. as will most hotels there, internet cost a lot. about daily. you can bring you laptop to the lobby if you want free wifi though. the free breakfast is good. again, i am comparing with other hotels in egypt. there is a wide selection of bread and fruits. lesser on meat products. i would always get the chef to fry me an egg. the rooms are slidely small. this makes it manageble for business travellers like me. remember to lock your balcony door before leaving the room as the balcony are common to a few.

Very large hotel with massive swimming pool particularly for families to enjoy, fantastic reefs with a huge variety of red sea life,very pleasant hotel staff,rooms alsways kept tidy and clean and quite spacious with balcony overlooking the sea as all the rooms are,equestrian centre if you like horse riding, no dive centre which was a disappointment, the hotel would really benefit from this facility as the local diving would be fantastic even for experienced divers but great for the beginners. Food served during the day was very good and the Chefs were prepared to make changes off the menu if required. The breakfasts were also of a very high quality. Need to provide hotel pick ups for guests from the airport.A bus service could also be available to and from naama Bay in the evenings by the hotel to avoid all the touts in Naama bay.

I am glad that i chose this hotel as i was hesitated to chose between the next door hotel.i arrived at 9 am in the hotel and the front desk gave me my room even i before 2pm.it could be because on monday, if on weekend i might not have a chance.the room was fine, i did not expect the room to be lavish even it stated 4 stars. It was expensive due to the location as Zamalek is for rich egyptian.i booked the city view as the nile view faced non interesting part of nile, because this hotel was located at the west bank. The fancy view during night was on the hotels located on east bank and facing the downtown Cairo.Zamalek is an island, where the embassies and colleges located.i got the top room and i did really need the quiet area, less hearing the car honk.the room service was good, even during my 9nights stay they did not change the bedsheet but they never failed to provide the toiletteries and fresh towel.The breakfast was mixed western and local breakfast.there was snack bar which served local dishes at reasonable price, pharmacy, money changer and metro supermarket just next to the hotel. It was convenient. My return flight was late at night but the hotel gave me room to be used to ease myself before i left for airport.even for couple of minutes but it worth. It provided the cab service at fixed price but the taxi driver still asked for tip. I had a pleasant stay in this hotel. I was concerned about the safety, and location near British Council, and this hotel is not really suitable for people who want to experience the other life of egypt night life.

we spent 5 days with our 8 months baby girl... we really loved the place it's so comfortable and chic... all the stuff was so helpful with a smile... when I asked for a special food for my baby they was so care ... I recommend it for young couple or old ones for relaxation and enjoying the beach and the sun ... the family as well will enjoy there is a pool for children and 3 for adults...breakfast is the most delicious meal for me for the bakeries which was so fresh and yummy there is lots of variety for the breakfast... lunch and dinner wasn't like breakfast but it was good...the value for the money is excellent... we will come back ever year

I stayedthere during my one day layover, from 5 am to 12:00 am. Shortly after I got off the plane (even before going through passport control), I met a hotel employee holding a paper saying my name. I was surprised cause I was not really sure if someone would actually come to pick me up, let alone before even entering Egypt. With the help of that hotel employee, I went through the passport control really smoothly (obviously he knows the officials quite well). Airport shuttle bus leaves every 20 minutes. However, I did not see any shuttle bus coming at 12:00 or 12:20. Seems that there were not enough passengers. So I told the front desk and he arranged a driver to send me to the airport at 12:30. Next time I transit in Cairo, I'd probably choose this hotel again.

The resort has a nice location: close to the beach. However, you have to cross a bridge to get there. This is nto an issue, but if you're room is located at the opposite side of the hotel, it might be better to request a room closer to bridge (especially for elders.) Some of the rooms are a long walk from the elevator, so it can be tiring for some to get to the beach. Another point to make is that when we booked on Agoda, free WiFi was one of the factors included. When we arrived to the resort, the staff denied this and said it was not free, but only 'available' for 40EGP per hour per person. After showing the staff members that it says free online, they chose to give us 1 hour of free WiFi for one person (out of three people.) Below the resort are plenty of coffee shops that play loud music late into the night, so be aware of that. Lastly, the rooms are very spacious, the bathtub quite dirty, the water cold, and the lighting very dim. If you like to read, keep that in mind.

This was my first time at an all-inclusive resort (and I didn’t even realise that’s what I’d booked) - so this made it excellent value for money! The resort is HUGE! It has everything! It’s also very beautiful and well-maintained. I had a sea view room which was spacious and clean but wish I’d been given a higher level. Overall, the staff was really friendly and helpful, and the Animation team were fantastic! I am a solo traveller who was expecting to spend my last week in Egypt relaxing but this resort isn’t that type. It’s very much a families resort and 99% of the guests are Germans so I was unsure about whether I would like it but after a day of two I was loving where I was and would love to go back - and that’s mostly thanks to the Animation team who were so friendly and highly entertaining! Everyday they have different shows and they are spectacular! I especially loved the fly boarding show! I hope to go back :)

As a solo traveller, I enjoyed my stay at the Grand Plaza hotel, I feel though that they don't realise how attractive their property is for solo travellers and they treat it like it's made for families. I found them very helpful and quick on their feet with my requests and enquiries, one lady in particular was very nice and friendly at reception. I especially liked their room service, the burger was homemade and very well cooked, the bread was fresh, the fries were still hot and well spiced, the salad fresh and tasty, I very much felt like this meal was done with love! haha. Their breakfast didn't have that many options, but it was up to standard, nothing too fancy. The room was very clean and equipped with all the basics, the bathroom modern and nice. There was no hairdryer though, which I thought was kinda weird and inconvenient. At some point I needed nail care kit, they didn't have clippers so they gave me two kits with nail file, they're genuinely helpful and good-natured.

This hotel saved my life from a taxi driver from hell. Long story short, hailed a taxi from Downtown Cairo, and what was supposed to be a 15 min drive turned out to be a 2 hour "city tour". No amount of screaming at the taxi driver helped, and having a GPS in my hand was only a painful reminder of how much time i'm wasting. Only after the meter hit a 100 pounds was he willing to drop me off at my intended destination. Obviously, no way was I going to pay him for this unsolicited "city tour". I threw a 50 pound note at him and ran into the hotel, only to have him come after me. Thankfully, security at this hotel was first class stellar. As far as I know, while I was up in my room chillin' out, security had to argue with him for well over an hour. Mind you, this was no business of the hotel but they have gone beyond the call of duty and stood up for me. A kind gesture I will forever remember. Aside from that, the room (and bathroom) is worthy of a 4 star hotel. The hot water is consistent, the showerhead is pretty fresh, and the bathtub is clean. I went on to stay at a 5 star hotel the next day, but it was nowhere near Barcelo in terms of cleanliness and room condition. As for food, you have a good variety available at the restaurants. Portions are way too big for an Asian though. Only word of caution, if you go out at night so best to have your dinner in the hotel. They have shisha by the pool too, so that's a plus.

First there’s no way that the food is 5 star although you can eat plenty of it. Also Agoda advertised free 2 way transfers but we actually had to pay ( they did refund us 15 usd and apologized tho). The gym and pools are very nice and you can drink as much beer and vodka as you want but it is cheap local stuff, that is not the best to say the least. Anyway if the price is cheap enough I guess it’s worth staying there for a couple of days.

Overall it is worthy hotel for low budget traveller. Room is clean, swimming pools are amazing , staffs are pretty nice and food is way better than I expected. Only problem is the location. I needed to use water taxi(10L.E per person) or free bus to go to Marina where all the bars and restaurants are. Also the beach is a little bit far although there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the beach.

I have to say Mr Wael is the best, he always did more than I asked for. Other staff were also very nice and helpful. Location is a bit far from city center, but not so far by taxi to City star- a big shopping mall which offers many options for eating. Shower room is tooo small, like 50*50cm, even difficult to stand in for people thin like me. Cleaning staff could had done better, they cleaned my room but still left hair inside the shower room. But price is good so in total it is worthy anyway. Compared with other hotels with way too high prices or old facilities, it is a good choice. Next year would like to come back here again.

we booked 3 superior rooms for 2 days. 1 room had a strong cigarette smell, we informed the reception about it and they sprayed something to make the smell go away. rooms: for a 4 star hotel standard in luxor the room size was reasonable. beds were comfortable, linens were clean. bathroom was small but well maintained countertops, toilet and shower stall, though shower stall/tub would be rather tight for a large person of above 100kg. we got rooms with half nile view and half street view, it was some noise from the traffic on the street but you can still sleep soundly, i think that if it was during peak season it could be more noisy. luxor is still recovering from the revolution in egypt at the time of our visit. hotel: hotel entrance from the outside doesnt look too promising. however, once inside, the hotel lobby area is pleasant, fresh and clean. the hotel staff are mostly nice, except for 1 guy at the reception. but all in all i'm quite please with the service overall. there is a luggage storage room, and it is usually locked. it was nice of them to allow us to leave our luggage for a couple days. it has a nice garden in the back and a nice nile view, with ample seating in the garden area to enjoy the nile view. food: the breakfast was very good with a wide selection of choices, especially for a hotel in egypt of such a standard. there are also italian and chinese restaurants in the hotel grounds garden area, we tried the italian and it was quite ok. all in all i would definitely go back to this hotel the next time i'm in luxor. for usd 55 for a standard doubleroom it is a value for money accommodation.

I made 2 mistakes - booking 8 days for the hotel before I planned my itinerary cause went to aswan and luxor in between. And also paying more to be upgraded to the Nile view. Honestly nothing much to see and the balcony door couldnt open so didnt see anything. Pros - room is big and hotel was going thru some upgrades so it look pretty new. Bathroom was also big and spacious. Breakfast was really good too and staff were very helpful. Cons - They didnt clear my room when I left for aswan/cairo and the food was left there for 5 days. a new club opened on the 3rd floor and it opens till 4am! You can't sleep. Dont send stuff for laundry there, ended up almost missing my flight cause they wont pick up. Also the doorman will ask if ur keen for a guide. Thinking it's from the hotel so it's trusted but it's not. The guide was a rip-off, and the doorman prob pocketed some earnings from that. Just uber everywhere.

I'm reviewing this being a 4 star hotel. We booked a poolside room but they gave us one facing the other side. That was a blessing in disguise because poolside was noisy with kids. The room was ok, clean enough but the bathroom looked filthy, there was no hot water and some of the furnishings were old. This is an ideal place if you're a family, as there is ample entertainment for kids, but as a couple, it's noisy. I was disappointed with the food options for the breakfast and dinner. For the amount of money we paid and it being a 4 star hotel, I was expecting a lot more. I won't come here again.

We went during a high season yet we didn't feel any problems or ques , the hotel buildings are old style but from my opinion clean and maintained , The Jaz intervention in the hotel is quite obvious amazing food , amazing staff , high level animation i actually didn't have the chance to see the pool because the sea was crystal clear , clean and very safe special thanks to Osama the life guard for his dedication, Special thanks too to the head chief for the clean delicious food . Will be back next October after i give birth and planning for a 10 days thing isa
