Good location. Fitness room is separated from the hotel and you need to pay 20 Ron to access it. No clothes iron in room, the only one at the reception desk could be used for free forhalf hour. The issue with the hotel is the difference between the rooms available through the booking process and the rooms at the hotel. we were 4 people and received a room with double bed.
stay was perfect I recommand this hotel to every business traveller who stay over in Romania. Hotel is owned by Italians so they spent a lot of attention to the customers specially Italians. The hostel is very nice just in the pedestrian road in old Town, is very modern and convinient. The staff is very helpful, I had a little problem with my bed and they sorted out very fast and very good. They also are very open to give advice on places to see and eat.
They came to the station to pick me up and drive to their house even though I arrived at 23:30. The location is very good as it's 1min walk to the old town. Staff were always on hand to help with any questions. We stayed in a private room off of a dorm (which was empty for our entire stay)- our room was an adequate size and had a private bathroom. Pensiunea Melisa is a little bit out of town, near to the independence monument, historic churches and the town sign, on one of the city's seven hills. It is very quiet, with a little shop opposite, and a basic bar just down the road. A taxi into the port cost just 9 lei (under £2), so inexpensive if you don't want the half hour walk with baggage. The hotel is beautiful with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. It is a 5 min walk for the old centre of Sibiu. The breakfast is nice with a good variety of things to chose from. We requested 2 cots for the youngest children and they were already in place when we arrived. Definitely recommended !!!!! .
