Perfect hotel for layover or aviation enthusiast”
Located between the two terminals, this airport hotel is a great spot for a layover or night. Decent sized comfortable rooms. Bathrooms a little on the small side but perfectly suitable for a short stay. I stayed in one of the low number rooms so that I could have a view of the twin runaways - excellent view! Beds were hard Chinese style but still much softer than others. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Complimentary water given to guests. On-site restaurant, convenience store + massage parlours (very good service, good price). Lots more food options in transit walk + airside of airport terminal building. If you want to visit Shanghai city, local trains or the Maglev (high-speed rail) run from right underneath the hotel. It's important to note that there are two towers - I was told that the south tower is the 'nicer' one - so be sure to confirm which you will be staying at. It is only a short walk between the two so no bother if you forget.

I love that this is located within the airport. Room was spacious and very clean. Comfortable bed and it has all of the amenities we needed. Excellent customer service and they spoke English well. Definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay again. :)

Da Zhong Pudong Airport is well worth it!”
After a tiring trip and having to stop over before your next flight... a good, clean hotel close by is heaven sent. This hotel was perfect. The room was small but very clean and had everything one could wish for ... for a one night stop-over. Hardest part was finding it... as there are no obvious signs to it in the terminal. Eventually using logic - knowing it was located between the 2 terminals - heading for the alternative terminal you will finally see a sign for the hotel. I chose the North side entrance. I'm not sure if there are any differences which side you enter from tho. Also there are food options close by - head down the lift back into the airport... and you will find a Starbucks and McDonalds (the Starbucks was open all night when I was there). Overall, for a one night stop-over...this hotel is well worth it.

Nice hotel to stay for transferring flight”
Great location for overnight staying to catch your morning flight. Right in between terminal 1 and 2, with a lot of food outlets and a Starbucks coffee store; also very close to the subway and the magnetic train station, so easy to go to the city. Room is clean and modern. Hotel staff are friendly too! Highly recommend for flight transfer passengers to stay!

Shanghai layover ”
I had a 16 hr layover and didn’t want to sleep on the floor or benches, so made a reservation with agoda. Easy to get to and find after claiming baggage. Was in a queen sized room and it was very nice for the low price. I feel I got more then what I paid for. There was a 300 yuan deposit that I had to pay that I was unaware of, but as long as you keep the white receipt they give you and don’t rush out with out checking out first, you will receive it back. English isn’t the best, but you are visiting their country so be patient and they will help you the best that they can. Would stay again should I find myself back with a long layover.

Great hotel for overnight layover!”
I stayed at this hotel for two overnight layovers, as it is accessible via the walkway connecting terminals 1 and 2. When you check in, you need to place a 300 CNY cash only deposit. They will give you a receipt and refund your deposit when you check out. At night, there is a security guard by the elevators who will ask to see your keycard before going upstairs. The accommodations are basic. The bathroom is clean but a bit small. Towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb, shampoo, soap and hairdryer are available on the vanity. The bed is on the harder side (typical for hotels in China), the wi-fi speed is decent, and there are plenty of electric outlets! The hotel doors are a bit thin and some windows open up to an indoor atrium, so keep it closed if you don't like the cigarette smoke smell. Didn't try the hotel food as there is a food court inside the airport walkway with basic eats at a better price point. Overall, solid layover hotel! Would stay again.

The best accommodation for transit in Shanghai Pudong”
This hotel is really a good choice for short or long transit in Shanghai Pudong. You do not need to take any taxi or cab, which is sometimes not really comfortable. Just walk in a few minutes from Terminal 1 or 2 to go to the hotel! Just great!

Horrible bed. Great location ”
I hate to say I wouldn’t recommend this hotel because I loved everything about... except the HORRIBLY uncomfortable bed. Didn’t sleep a wink. It was a round bed with a non standard round mattress which had almost no cushion to it. Perhaps if I was under 30 years old it would work but it will be a deal breaker for me next time
