Very Good Stay @ Diamond Hotel”
We stayed in a group (My old parents, my wife and 2 young kids) and had 2 inter-connected rooms at our disposal. Following are the Pros: 1) Hotel is located centrally and is within 15-20 mins away from all the ghats and places of importance 2) Very near to the Banaras and Banaras Junction railway station 3) Just next to a mall with Dominos, Bikanerwala and other reastaurants near by 4) Local transport is available very easily 5) Staff is courteous and helpful 6) Rooms were spacious and were daily cleaned Cons: 1) While the breakfast taste and quality was very good, the variety could have been increased. Many items were getting repeated 2) At such a decent hotel, you do expect some additional services & facilities to be available within the room - such as dental kit, hair dryer etc, these were missing 3) While the bathrooms were clean, but many a times the drains were getting choked (probably because the building is bit old)

A friendly hotel with good restaurant food”
Five of a family stayed in 2 rooms for 3 nights. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff, from the doorman to the GM, was friendly and helpful. Food at the hotel restaurant was very good and the service was attentive and efficient. Would like to make a special mention of Ms. Kushboo who attended on us at every breakfast. We asked for typical Banarasi food and the chef was happy to make quite a few items that were not on the menu. Breakfast was good and had soft idlis and vadas every day. there is a Spencer department store next door and ATM's are nearby. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, thanks very much to the staff.

It’s located just on periphery of old city with open roads around. Every part of old city is within 2 kms. Even can walk to some nearest ghats. The breakfast is well laid out and quality of food is excellent. Staff are courteous. Plenty of local transport available as you step out of hotel.
