Dutta’s Residency- Home away from Home”
Nice place to stay in Port Blair. It’s located in the heart of the city. Aberdeen Bazaar and Cellular Jail are just 3 km away. Rooms are neat and tidy. Laundry facility is also available. Best part is the home made food prepared by Sona Ji, it’s fresh and delicious. Nobody disturbs your privacy. Dining table is arranged in the patio which is kind of cool idea. We enjoyed the stay at Dutta’s.

Awesome Place to stay”
One of the awesome places to stay in Port Blair. Host is very polite and very helpful. Sona ji is very very kind and helpful. We booked it for one night and booked it again when returning from havelock to stay in port blair. You will get everything just ask Sona ji. Room is very large and with a beautiful balcony. If you are not looking for fancy stay, but a homely stay then this place is for you.

It was a pathetic unorganised system .. very poor service and ambience so much noise all around ”
Don’t waste ur time and money at this pathetic property the owners don’t treat their staff well and it’s haphazardly managed had a difficult time asking for basic things like warm water .. then there was noise all around from 2:30 am onwards, about various religious places and other animals making noises till 6 am .. horrible stay and very unmanaged property.. had to plead the driver to stay because he was in a foul mood and wanted to leave Coz owners don’t have a good rapport with them .. they say they provide free drop to airport but it comes with a very heavy price of mental trauma .. discussing with driver and bringing all luggage downstairs on our own we had the worst kind of stay and it was so very costly paid obscene amount of money for stay and over priced food at the property.. worst stay ever

We stayed there for a night. It was a comfortable stay. We stayed in a family room, with total of 4 beds in two rooms, was relaxing. Have well maintained rooms. However AC in room B needs to be repaired, since there is lot of delay to start, which i guess owner will definitely be taking care. Overall it was a good stay.

No reception, there is a servant boy that takes you to a room. Owner Mr Dutta does not meet anyone.”
Wifi was inoperative. TV was not working. Frequent power outage and they don't have any generator back up. The owner thinks he is God and does not answer phone calls. The servant boy is not available even if you call. He does not share his phone number. There are 4 guest rooms and you get no service at all. Booking. Com and Agoda will lose their credibility if they continue to book them. I am requesting you for a refund of my money. The place in short is horrible for tourists, especially for senior citizens like us.
